Muse isn't afraid to risk the popularity of a song in order to ensure its integrity from a musical standpoint. They would rather have a good song over a catchy/popular one. To quote Matt Bellamy (paraphrasing): "We've found it takes our fans about 2 years to catch on. So at first most people will complain about the new music, but then about two years later they start to understand."
@@BigBeatReactions Yeah, I think you'd love to see this one live, though I'd definitely say check out the Glastonbury 2004 version of Citizen Erased! Tons of good ones, I think that's the best though. Best gig they ever did.
So hyped for your muse journey , I've seen them twice back in the early days and both in small intimate venues but now they pack stadiums and deservedly so. Likely the best live band you will ever see and should be on everyones bucket list to see them at least once in your life live. Deffo watch live performances ..plug in baby, fury, map of the problematic , assasin to name a few
Just found this channel. You have to review more muse, one of the most talented group of musicians ever. An absolute goldmine of music, 50+ masterpieces
Check out Placebo :-) ! It's my favourite band :-). I'm a big fan since their untitled debut album in 1996. P.s. I also like Pink Floyd :-). P.s. I also like Muse :-).
Here’s a list of muse bangers: New born, The Handler, Bliss, Showbiz, City of delusion, Knights of Cydonia, Space dementia, Hyper music, the globalist. There’s obviously so many more amazing muse songs, these are just some very popular ones, not necessarily their most commercially successful but most fans know to be their best songs. The Handler in particular is a song I hadn’t heard as it was on their least favourite album of mine but it has the most badass conclusion to a rock song I’ve ever heard in my life.
loved the reaction! not a muse song, but if you haven't heard it I recommend Arriving Somewhere But Not Here by Porcupine Tree. its another long song, and like this one I feel like it takes you on a bit of a journey
A friend of mine just told me about Porcupine Tree. Thanks for the suggestion, watch out for that video in the next couple weeks. Thanks for being a part of the Big Beat Team!
Welcome to the fanbase dude lol in their 23 years of releasing albums there is only 1 song I do not like, all three o of them are such masters of their tools
@@PlanetTelex00 Well I don't particularly like Guiding Light, as a drummer I find it soo repetitive; but the song I hate is Stand Up And Fight.. the most unMuse, mainstream tryhard soppy bullshit song. Imo
@@c-st4r Guiding Light is actually exactly what I expected you to say lol. I’m in the minority and actually really like Guiding Light. I agree with you about Get up and Fight. I’m not a fan of pretty much anything off of Simulation Theory though.
Maybe the best song ever.
It is a very very good song. Iconic

You are so right, Muse is an epic journey, no other band makes these rhythm changes with the level of perfection that they do... simply amazing!
