Before that, the only such incident we knew was Captain Russell kicking the ball to keep Kachra on strike for the last over... Perhaps that made Sehwag do it 🤣🤣🤣
I used to work in South Africa in 2010. It was lunch time at work when the game was nearing it's end. I was sitting with my South African colleagues in the canteen, having finished lunch and all watching the match intently. So were the people at the other lunch tables. Harbhajan was bowling and I think it was a close lbw call; I on my part cried a loud 'Yess!!' in excitement of that appeal forgetting that I was amongst South Africans and mine was the only voice that came out at that moment. I was embarrassed and looked across the room, the others were nodding their head in disapproval while my colleagues who had lunched with me let out a sheepish laugh. At the end of the match, which wasn't too far from that moment, I was secretly elated but took caution not to show it too much. Great memory and greater still, those people in South Africa. They know what is sports and what sportsmanship is. And hey, cricket has LAWs; other sports have rules. Great video otherwise.
