I was an infantry marine for 8 years. During a “deployment” to Okinawa I heard stories from some of the Marines on camp Hansen about a gate called gate 3 that allegedly closed due to recurring supernatural phenomena. I saw the story of a ~ 12y/o kid who fell into a sewer system in California and went for a trip down a water slide. He was at a local park with his extended family for a birthday or picnic. He wandered across the area and got into an adjacent old derelict building. While exploring, the floor collapsed and he fell into a sewer pipe that had running water flowing through it. He was swept for almost a 1/4 mile before holding on to something and stopping himself. He was in there for hours until the fire/police dept. found where he fell in and ultimately rescued him.

I read your post, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but here's a story about a bar. John changed his bloodstained shirt in his car. He parked in the gravel “parking lot" of The Iron Bullet, under the lone street light that had long ago died out. One more check in the mirror, and he gave a stern smile at his rear view and tried to look friendly, but it just made the big man look more intimidating. None the less, he decided that he looked presentable and opened his car door. John carefully wove his way thru the dark parking lot with only the lights from the neon sign for guidance. He approached the windowless door covered with old, torn, beer ads. He pulled on the handle, and it easily opened. That made him smile for real. He didnt think he had bad intentions, but he was glad to make sure. Had the boundary spell seen any bad intentions, well, it would lock shut The Bullet and then, bye-bye vengeful (or hungry) patron. He knew the witch who owned the place. Nadia. He thought of her as "the Glenda type". She was effective, to say the very least. He walked thru the unusual crowd, feet sticking to the dirty floor every three steps and made his way to the bar. John sat down in front of the slim, blonde, tattooed Bartender. “What can I getcha?” the Bartender asked. “Jack. Neat.” John replied. The Bartender's eyes widened a bit. “Is Nadia around?” “Nah. She’s out of town til the end of next week.” The Bartender replied with a look of relief. “I’m just watching the Bullet for now. My name is Basil.” “John" the large man said. “Nice to meet cha, John!” Basil replied. “Likewise” John Grunted. He had just finished his last job and had some pocket money, though. He had a bit of time. It wouldn’t be too bad to take a break in a place with both whiskey and a border spell like Nadia's. John nodded at Basil “A good rest would be nice.” John handed cash to the bartender and watched Basil take a sip of his thick red drink. He smiled wistfully, exposing two sharp canine teeth. “Me too, man. Me too.” Basil handed John the key to his assigned boarding room. With that, John downed the last of his Jack Daniel’s and smiled an incredibly kind but sad smile, well for John. He took the key and looked at Basil. “I will see you later. Night.” “You have a goodnight, man” Basil replied. The big man gave a small nod of recognition as he climbed the creaky stairs to his room to rest. His body, at least. His mind was another story. John hoped the vampire could find some kind of rest as well.

I was starting listening to the new story and then the lights went out in my neighborhood. Black out at the moment and Lighthouse is keeping me company in the dark. Nice ambience 😂
Im actually a manhole rehab/ clean and tv guy. Ive crawled 24 inch lines before. This story is right up my alley
Please finish the Voodoo Shop series if you are going to do long stories!!!
Yes! I love those stories. More of them, please!
I freaking love that these are all connected it genuinely makes me more invested in this universe and makes me want to keep listening!
Ahhhhh perfect timing to end my long ass day!!!!!! Thank you for Stephan/Lighthouse Horror crew💙💙💙🙏
@@AuntyLeelee I second that sentiment.
Is no1 else going to address the "stick of cigarette" thing? I couldn't find it addressed anywhere else in the comments.
@@pierredclarkI'll be the 3rd to agree on that sentiment
I'm not even claustrophobic and this messed with me. Good job
Yes. Thank you
I just realized that "tic-tac" from the park where red is forbidden made a cameo here! COOL!
Great story and narration. Pleasant surprise for the ending section with seeing your face in a while and fan contributions!
I love this one it was fun! It was longer than I expected while listening and when I thought it would end it didn't but that made it more fun. I love how it ended too it still had plenty of mysteries to think about even after the end.
I just realized who the headless police man was after reading the comments oh my god?! I love the call backs and references to your other stories!!!
2:15:28 idk why but you pausing the story to say “hobo is one of the best words in the English language” made me laugh so hard cause I was not expecting it at all
😂 it really is
I love these stories that combine aspects from several other stories
I love this story. All the known characters from the past!
Oh I got a serious issue here people. I have been binge watching this channel since I found it not long ago! I am fully caught up and thought "let me check out other story tellers or "narrators" until this gem, Lighthouse, posts his next story. Problem is, THEY ALL SUCK SO FAR! I can not find even ONE that is on par with this narrator. Not one! And truly, the fact that there are 132K views and only 6.6K likes is blasphemy! HIT THE LIKE BUTTON PEOPLE! THIS MAN DESERVES IT SO MUCH! Your talent on telling these stories is phenomenal, Sir. I have tried to listen to several other RUclips narrators and none of them even come close to the talent you have. You read each story so natural and you pull us all into it with you. Simply amazing talent to have indeed. You have knocked all these stories out of the park and now it really sucks going back to listening to other narrated e-books.. it's worlds apart, the difference. Thank you for all the hard work you do putting these stories out to us. I don't think people realize the work that really goes into what you do.
Hehe yeah i feel like the dark somnium and lighthouse are the best.
Let's read is my "i wanna sleep & I don't mind missing a bunch" go to. I listen to lighthouse in the am.
Dark somnium and Mr. Creepypasta are bangers, too. But nobody is Steve!
LH creeping up to 1M subscribers, GET IT BOI!! You deserve so many more. Thank You as well, for all the great narrations, you're the best! 😊
That was so so good. Great job narrating and great story.
This is totally a prequel to another story.....the huge centipede and the headless cop....then the gummy bear loving crow....like it
Really enjoy the longer format, the stories and narration are superb.
2 hour long video! I could cry 🎉
Makes part of my 5 hour drive more enjoyable
I LOVE stories that are part of a larger universe
Old Sarge is the goodest of boys!
And all the ither references made me so happy :D
Old Sarge is such a perfect name for a rescue dog.
Love it!
I Honestly Believe This IS One of Your BEST STORY'S 👍. THX for the RIDE ✌️💙
GREAT JOB
I look forward to lighthouse stories, love listening on the couch with storms outside
Upon hearing about the Anglerfish like creature in the collection of short stories at the end…
Me (a Magnus Archives fan): “Oh gods, The Stranger has found a foothold in our world!”
Evening, just in time for bed! I Love listening to stories to fall asleep to!!! S&R are some of my very favorite 🤩!!!
♥️♥️♥️😊
Wait aren't they called the sticky bandit? And oh yeah crap you had me crying when he walked in and saw Glenn in the hospital room... Damn good story thank you
😎 Perfect timing and length ☺️ love your stories 🥰
Thank you for these videos, I love longer things to let my brain bite into! The candid section at the end really helps endear myself to your voice too
Hey lighthouse missed you brother glad you're back 😊☮️👽
Wow, tic-tak, old sarg, and the centipede and headless cop! Such great “rules” story easter eggs! Love it! Of course awesomely narrated as usual. Thank you for your hard work!
Saving this for later watch. Keep rockin it LH my dude
Yeah baby! Another long story! Love this channel, narrations and how interactive Lighthouse is with his subbies!❤🎉
Right on time for bed time ,,,, Thank you 🎉🎉🎉
Old sarge❤🎉 this is full of delightful callbacks!!!! Thank you lighthouse ❤
I love me some lighthouse horror stories
Me too….😮
Omoshhhhh you brought TicTac the manger from back from the gas station story! You even said he saw a tent of purple in the sky how crazy I jumped for joy when I heard ❤ TicTac and the old manager, old sarge, the headless police officer from the teenagers that was at the post. The son impede from the post that he was posting so many characters you brought into the story was just amazing some I didn’t list but the best one yet I say that every time but I love how u connect everything together in your stories!!
Geeze learn to spell it's the toll booth story and spelled centipede..... It was just one teen watching the toll booth overnight
Thanks Stephen
I LOVED THIS STORY! My name is also Glenn, I love that he was such a badass
2.5 hours....whaaaaat!! 😊 awesome, totally.
I really loved this story! Listened start to finish with deep interest and the bit at the end was really enjoyable as well! It was very nice to see your personality and humor shine through with your jokes it made me laugh quite a bit
Also, don’t hate me but I couldn’t wait & i went to the end & i loved it!
I like your comments as you read!
You are FUNTASTIC STEPHEN!
🔥🔥🔥🗿👊😁🗿🔥🔥🔥
I remember a previous story from light house involving a headless policeman who liked saluting, A giant centipede.
I think it was about a toll booth outside a cursed town.
Do I sense a connection here, Hmmmm?.
I loved this video! All the old callbacks from previous stories, the readings at the end. This was a great experience. I only wish I had a scary bar story to share.
Thank you so much lighthouse❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was totally awesome, thanks so much, your the man!!! Thanks Sarge!!❤❤
Well, I'm dead. I can't handle the cigarette smoke, so if I smoke, I will die. If I dont smoke, I will die. I guess I will have to wait until the end and see.
Strange Rules videos are a must, Tic Tak and Old Sarge, the headless officer you must salute and monster stories. I enjoy the narrator is totally awesome.
Yes yes yes!!!!!!! Better than listening to the presidential debate! Thank you👻
Agree with that! I'll take a well written and narrated spooky story over politics any day (or night!).
