Regarding the Poltava strike, Igor Mosiychuk, a former MP and deputy commander of the Azov regiment said that the Ukrainian military must accept some blame for allowing so many valuable soldiers to be gathered in one undefended place.

As usual, there is a huge difference in the casualties reported by AFU and the ones RU estimates. In either case however, the casualties are in the multi-hundreds....

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree on Tuesday dismissing Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Rostyslav Shurma. The reason for the decision is currently unclear.

Volodymyr Zelensky has not been a president anymore since May 2024 so he is usurpator and dictator. The term of Ukrainian parliament has also expired therefore it is not a legitimate anymore. A Military Unit or Institute facilities should be located underground and not common knowledge to everyone, least of all, the Russians. I'm really surprised that Ukraine has left itself so exposed and vulnerable given what the premises were used for. They could have just had a facade up above, while utilizing underground facilities. Can't be that complicated or expensive to construct something like that.

This strategy by the Ukrainians is in fact erroneous for the swap is dissimilar and no exchange can take place. Like in the exchange of commodities. For two commodities to exchange it’s necessary that the commodities must have equal or equivalent “use values”,else no exchange is possible. And the question is what use value, in terms of power, Kursk has with its barren land, forests, or even agricultural land? Not much or nothing at all. On the contrary, the big cities the Russians are after, have all the modern bells and whistles amenities , etc. that modern men need and crave for. Hence urban life is much preferred than the mundane life of rural life. That is why the “Kursk victory” the West and Ukraine are cheering about is a Pyrrhic Victory that rings hollow in the scheme of things.
