Yeah the AR really is that good. I find myself staring at it unconsciously. Yes the case scratches really easy, way easier than titanium citizens which you can almost feel are more hard. I do think the mode button needs to be made with higher push pressure. I bump it a lot. Spot on the low light visibility. Honestly because of the faceted markers it probably is the best overall low light to no light watch I have. interestingly i find it too busy in full light and you can sometimes lose orientation and the hands because it's so gleamy. ding on the quick adjust which works well but easily gets actuated when taking it on and off. 100% accurate review. 👍
Thank you. I so far haven't had a problem with the mode button but that quick adjust clasp definitely tends to get expanded accidentally when putting on ot taking off the watch. Otherwise I love it. It sure does catch all kinds of light in full daylight but the AR is so good. It's one of my most worn watches since I've owned it.
Definitely a beautiful watch Bob. Doesn’t even look like there is a crystal over the dial, and really cool info about the case being made where Grand Seikos are made. Awesome video as always!
If I were to think I had a grail an Oceanus would be it. Being a quartz guy and with all the features the line has and the beautiful designs and superb finishing I'm hard pressed to find a more worthy "grail".
Excellent video Bob!! I can see this being a "one watch " for many people. So much to love about it. Analog with Bluetooth, amazing finishes, nothing really missed here. Thanks for sharing man!!😎👊👍
Fantastic work with the review Bob, I'm definitely more and more interested in the oceanus line up as they genuinely look like amazing value for money.
My next one will probably be a 3 hander. There's a couple I'm looking at but I keep circling back to the OCW-T200SB-1AJF. I like that black with the blue markers. Thanks Tom.
I have the OCW-T3000A-1AJF and I have loved it for the couple years I have had it. I am curious about the Seiko Astron line, but the price keeps me away.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces okay, it's very uniform, very precisely uniform, would have fooled me. I saw it in another video even and thought that. Thx
Can anyone suggest where you can get more links for this watch/bracelet? I have a big wrist and I can't find anywhere if extra links are included. If not I would want to order them. Thanks!
Wondering if you could go direct to them for links. I recently was on the hunt for a couple Sinn links. Found some on ebay but checked with Sinn and they had them much cheaper. I have a 7.25 inch wrist and there was only one link to spare after sizing. I think it would probably fit a 7.5 inch wrist or so or smaller.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces thanks for that! How do you identify which link you need? Just search for modelname or do you find them another way. Is there a way to find the bracelet sku for example, I take it these bracelets are shared on more models. Sorry for all the noob questions, I have no experience with jdm watches.
@@johanboekhoven No prob at all. It was the same story with me. I sent Sinn an email to their customer service with the model number and pictures. They forwarded me to a parts department that looked after it right away. I'm assuming it would be similar with Casio.

Titanium naturally oxidizes and leaves a slight coating on the metal itself. Titanium is very, very hard to scratch. What you are probably seeing the oxidized layer getting scratched, and it will slowly “heal” itself over time.
Titanium is softer than steel; I have a Seiko Sportura in steel, and I have one in titanium. The latter scratches more easily, but new scratches will look better after oxidation. Scratched steel adds character - scratched titanium, not so much.
Cool watch. Very understandable overview.

I've thought about getting one forever and glad I finally did. Such a cool watch. Thanks man 👊
Beautiful watch, Casio make excellent watches, in 2022 I purchased a Casio Frogman analog, great watch, very accurate.
Nice. Love the Frogman. Beast of a watch. Thanks!
Hello Bob, nice watch. I do love the blue ring around the outer edge of the dial. I also love the drone footage. Have a great weekend.
Thanks Ian. It's been a go to since I got it. Hoping to get the drone out again soon for a video. Have a great weekend!
I've been waiting for this one, looks great!
Thanks man. I've been wearing this one a lot since I picked it up.
Another banger 👏 great b-roll and drone shots brother!!
Thanks a bunch Miguel 👊👍
Amazing video Bob. Can't wait till Gem Bijou gets the 4 models being released in Canada and I'll finally have one after over 1 year of desiring one.
I'm looking forward to that too. Thanks man 👊

You'd really like them I have a feeling. I'm very happy with mine so far.
Oceanus is an amazing watch , thanks so posting this video 📷
Oh man I'm so impressed. Appreciate it.
Oceanus are often overlooked, but are amazing watches. I like a simpler dial though, so their three handers are the ones I'd go for.
I agree. I have the S100 Black and T150 Light Blue dial.
@@brocklanders6969 the light blue dial is amazing. 👏

Thanks man. It's been too long since I've gotten the drone out. Couple more outdoor adventures planned for the summer so hopefully more coming soon :)
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Looking forward to seeing those:)
Hard to find a dud in that line of watches thanks for the video!
I haven't seen many in person but it definitely seems like it. Thanks.
Great review and Amazing watch 👍
Thank you!
Sleek design and great mix of polish and matt finishing!! 😎😎
I agree. It wears so well and the finish is amazing for the price. Thanks.
There are 3 micro adjustment steps normally, not 2 (as you have shown).
Love this watch Bob. 👍🏻🎯😎
Me too. It's been excellent so far. Thanks Kevin.
What are the numbers on the bezel? How do you read it. The negative numbers throw me off
If you go to 5:40 in the video I talk about that.
I mate is it big on the rist or okay please I have the ocw 100
I think it wears really well. I'd don't find it too big.
The blue chapter ring does it for me
Yeah. I love how the ar pops like that at the edge of the crystal. Thanks!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces is it the ar coating that I am seeing or is that a permanent blue?
@@scatterbrain9490 It's the AR. It has a glow to the edge of the crystal when light hits it.

I mate how wide is the glass on the ocwt3000 please
Just measured with my calipers. Looks like it's 33.5mm.
It's 100 meters

What do you mean by AR?
The crystal has an anti reflective coating to keep down glare.

Why is nobody reviewing the Casio Oceanus 5000 the square one????????
Not sure but it looks really cool.
4 months later how is the watch about scratches?
It's actually help up really well. Couple hairlines on the clasp but otherwise not bad at all.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces perfect, mine will arrive next week 😊

Wow had no idea it was $680 bucks !
what about breitling AR?
That would be an interesting side by side. You're right. Breitling has some serious AR too.
It would have been something if the drone took off with the watch accidentally attached...
Lol. That's actually in the works. I have a Casio that measures altitude I'm thinking of attaching to the drone to test out :)

Looks heavy, would be nice if they made it from ceramic.
titanium is lightweight
