- First race meeting in the new rocket. These were the first laps where I had no problems and could push it to see how the car actually drove after the new build. Not ideal trying to learn a new car in race conditions but makes for interesting viewing. Once I got to 3rd and knew I wasn't going to catch the top two, I was content with just sitting back and getting to understand the car more.
I'm pretty happy with the overall package as a base. Some things I learnt from this race was the brake bias front to rear still needs fine tuning, throttle mapping needs work to make the power delivery more linear and the tyres rubbing on the guards on fast corners is a problem.
Pretty happy I now have a car that can not only pass around corners but in a straight line as well! Top speed down the straight was 241km/h.
Not sure why the footage goes distorted so often but I'll work on that for future races.
The glove box struggle is real!
I think it's begging for some weight reduction :)

Excellent to see the Zook out on track. The vibration sounds like an exhaust note vibration. Try a cushioned mount instead of a fixed mount.
It's a race car. Who flicking cares about a vibration? Lol.

Awe man ... I subscribed at lunch because I wanted to watch the TCR race when I got home ... and now it is gone.
That car is a little weapon! Would love to see a video of the instrument cluster to see rpm's in the next vid.

G13BT 1300cc turbo
It has a 1.6 block with a g13B head also it’s a mk1 Suzuki Swift GTi so they do exist in Japan they are called a Suzuki cultus but GTi variants didn’t come till mk2 in Japan.
Cultus was just the Japanese market name for the Swift. Swift GTi was called Cultus GTi in Japan, even in Mk1 models. I had one for a few years. Decent car.
Great driving mate camera must be rubbing on the body glove box needs some blue tak 😀👍
Hey mate can you tell us the specs on the gti?
Dude your GoPro just found your ride's resonant frequency. I bet the camera was mounted really close to some part of the roll cage and when you hit that frequency range, the vibrations were of sufficient amplitude to touch the plastic casing around it. It really sounds like a mounting issue to me.
It appears your camera wobble is caused by exhaust noise vibration pitch is to high affecting camera.

If you are allowed to swap out block and strokes on these cars to increase capacity, why couldn't they just let you turbo the EG civic and cake walk everything including this thing?

Its a g13b engine with a nice little turbo on it factory engine just better specs

In car camera needs stiffer mounting or some weight to damp it's movement...or both....Great car/driver, it looked like the other cars were stalled at the start...

Nice driving but you should not be able to play with the glove box if your strapped into your seat correctly. I dont want to leave a negative comment, we should be talking about how awesome that little car is. Anyway great car and great driving
