Elderly woman stabbed in Chinatown robbery, sparking safety concerns

- Residents and business owners are speaking out after a recent violent attack and robbery prompted fears of rising crime in the Chinatown area of Los Angeles. On Sunday afternoon, a 68-year-old woman was robbed of her purse and stabbed near Broadway in Chinatown, and the assailant also tried to cut a good Samaritan who tried to stop him, video shows.
“She tried to chase the robber and try to get [her purse] back because she said, ‘My ID is there, my phone is there and I want it back,'” said Diane Poon, the victim’s friend. “When she tried to chase the guy, he turned around and stabbed her.” The woman was stabbed multiple times by the suspect before bystanders were seen rushing over to her.

If the Samaritan had carry a pepper spray, the robber might have been stopped. I now have pepper spray within reach in my car and carry with me when I walk at night or in the area isn't so safe. I never thought I would be carrying pepper spray but we live in Joe Biden America where so many criminals with many convictions are on the street.

When they mentioned to much homeless people they meant to say to much drug addict homes less people . Real homeless people are usually good people who might have lost their jobs where they’re trying to get back on there feet and some just prefer to be that way because they don’t want to find responsibilities to pay for mortgage but drug addicted homeless people are very dangerous especially when they’re high on all these new types of mixtures of drugs that causes them to have mental breakdown/psychotic episodes . Last year there was a drug addict/homeless person wielding a knife Infront of a chase bank where he was swinging it around a crowd. A armed security called law enforcement and all they did was relocate the suspect . 🤦
