What fun. Nothing like massive beach breaking waves. So close to the action. A veritable Gladiator pit of Mother nature pounding and barreling! The Pacific Ocean has a special power over Beach Breaks for thousands of beaches. From Ocean beach in San Francisco to the entire coast of Mexico and even further South into the vast unknown..
Epic. Huge props to the sole chica bringing the heat out there - legit! And to the poor chap that got served a slice of humble pie after getting lipped at 40:25, ouch. Regardless, you're all warriors for even being out there on one of the heaviest waves in the world.
Nice footage guys. Biggest waves I’ve ever surfed were here. It was an 8-12’ day with occasional 15’s and about lost my soul out there. I got a couple really nice like 10’ers, which was essentially the top end of my limit, but then it ate my soul no matter what I tried. Such a unique break, where it seems to go fast but sits back until right at the end when it lips up, and awkwardly slingshots you in to a medium fast wave. It’s nowhere near as fast, but if you’re not in the right place, the backwash can kill whatever you’ve got going. Are there still anemones there? Great shooting guys. Thanks for posting.

This wave sucks. Dangerous, breaks too fast unless you shoulder hop. Very few make the wave. I discovered the point break there in 1971. The paddle out is just as dangerous.
