    We bought the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam from Costco (Model GS208GD). We heard this is one of the best steamers on the market and in this video, I'll show you how to use it and let you know if I recommend buying it to replace your current iron or steamer.

    I just bought one a few days ago from Costco-- I am impressed with this steamer! Now I just need the pad to hang on the back of the door-and maybe a mitt to protect my hands when I do the sleeves on a shirt.

    I have the steamer and really like it. It works well enough for me as an iron. And it steams well. It is heavy. I'm in my 70's.

    Thanks for this video! Conair lacks instructional videos, so they need to be paying you! We bought the slightly newer model but the parts all look the same. This is a high quality useful review!👏👏👏

    I’m not sure if I will keep it due the value vs. amount of use it will receive. Although you didn’t mention it, the steamer uses up to 1875 watts, which means that you can flip a 15-amp circuit breaker if anything is in use on the same circuit. Needing to use distilled water (recommended) is also a factor given that the water in my area is quite hard. Call me cheap, but the last thing I want to pay for and store in the house in is distilled water.
    Very good review, by the way.

    I have an updated version of this steamer from Costco - the head is a triangular shape. I wondering about the water leaking. At first mine did not leak and now it does. I'm wondering if they all do that and why mine didn't for several weeks but then started leaking.

    For some reason mine is not working properly. It soaks the clothes and does it steam or dry it.

    Thanks for the review! But, a linen shirt should be ironed with a high setting to get the best possible results.😊

      @marilyncocozzatrillo1534 😲 I avoid wear Linen fabric just because It wrinkles so easily, even after ironing.

      YES! bought this product last week and I recommend you not to buy it. it leaks water from the bottom and the materials feels cheap af you can get one for so much cheaper and probably works better

    Is it travel friendly? Would it work on Asia or EU plugs?

    • @costcozaddy
      @costcozaddy  9 месяцев назад +1

      It’s too big and bulky to travel with imo. You’ll need an adapter for use in Asia/EU!

      The most economical and environmentally friendly way is using distilled vinegar. This is what I have used for my iron and floor clean steamer.

    Bro … almost EVERY iron has a STEAM setting. Thus, a steamer/iron combo. Just sayin’
