    My favorite of the King's chariots, the 74 Charger!! Got my bone stocker in the garage proudly wearing its 43 license plate frame and window sticker bought at the Petty Museum in Level Cross 20 years ago.

    The 1974 Dodge Charger and the 1967 Plymouth are two of my favorite cars.
    Thanks for sharing the history of your families involvement in NASCAR. I look forward to each new episode!

    Was a great time when a man and his friends could build a racecar and compete with the greats of NASCAR. It produced ,self made body men,fabricators,engine,tranny,rear end specialists,etc. regular guys who were really geniuses in their craft.Such a shame those skills will fade away.

    As a kid I built so many models of that Charger. Never could get the blue right. I was working on a kid budget.

    I'd love to buy some old NASCAR rule books like that from the 50's through the 70's but i've never been able to find any for sale, at any price.

    I had a friend who was a tv sports reporter for 30+ years...he referred to the officials as the NASCAR Mafia.

    Do you guys answer the questions

  • @papaslick83
    @papaslick83 4 месяца назад +1

    I've always had a question I hope you guys actually answer this one. I see pictures in the 70s and the petty cars are always petty blue and red sometimes they have dayglow Orange. The one behind you has red if you go to the petty museum almost all of them have day glow. What color were they for real? Did they mix them up sometimes red sometimes they glow or what's the real story

    NASCAR and the Federal Government are a lot alike. Too many rules and regulations make life suck. Just sayin'..........
