Dayz standalone doesnt quench most peoples thurst. Same for me For the most part....alot of hardcore arma 2 dayz players never truly went over to standalone. They Either went to arma 3 or stuck around for the player drop. Modern dayz fell short....it did gain a new generation of players. And they are the ones keeping the player count up. But you will never accidentally walk up on a parked Huey in a empty patch deep in the forest up north etc....the atmosphere isnt the same

check out vanilla flashback, gets up to 30+ player most days. I love epoch but genesis overdid it by militarizing the server imo..
