eddie was actually very good on the drums, he was the drummer for cry of love at one point. I recommend ya'll check it out and see for yourself how good he was

I saw Peal Jam years ago - in the mid 1990's - and Eddie Vedder was shit then too. Why do people still pay to see him? He couldn't play a good live show if his life depended on it...
eddie has a great voice undoubtedly but it's a little loose live (i appreciate it's live i know). in a studio he has it nailed. very powerful but these versions of split enz don't really do them any justice. the melodies are nowhere near clear enough and if liam wasn't neils son people would definitely have a difference in opinion for his contributions. love is blind i guess
