spikedart oh boxers are very erotic ;))
cant wait to see it fly
Pritam Maity yes me to ;)
@@elpunto231 You must teach your brother how to zoom the shit out of it!
Don’t use the heat shrink, the best way to do those pushrods is with kite string and thin ca. After you bend the metal and Insert it into the wood dowel the kite string is and wrap it around a bunch of times and then soak it in the thin ca. The heat shrink can and will slip after a while. A way my grandfather taught me on making those push rods, witch I still do to this day! Beautiful plane!
Jeff West yes i use string to....it is the best way to do it...
Real bargain for the price guys . can't wait till you fly it. That engine will sound nice , great video as usual.
Peter Goodwin this will be a porn to se in sky ;)
Size does matter ! Oh Yeah ! Cheers and Salute !
William Murgita ahahah cheers!!!!
For your old school pushrods. I used unwaxed twine. Wrapped the end of the Push rod with the twine. All the way from the leading edge of the dowel, to here the metal rod,( the 90' bend) entered the dowel. Then covered the the whole thing with 5 min epoxy. This compensates for any and all weather conditions, without the loss of structural integrity. Whereas shrink tubing will lose its strength and flex with any type of "G's". It will give you a stronger , longer lifetime, and better input for your control surfaces. For only a few more minutes of work. Hope this info helps.
Danny Murphy oh yes i do the same with mine also...you have to be careful with this big boys....
Capt. Blaz,
I built a few old-school balsa arf's with similar air frame design, way back when.
You might want to go ahead and glue the wing halves together with 30 min epoxy.
The glue and the plywood spars (bayonets) and the spars inside will make a very strong composite type main spar.
However, the planes I built were war-birds and high speed stunt planes.
Removable spars/bayonets might work with a slow flying tow-plane.
This should be interesting.
Nevada Joe thanks for your info....cheers!!!!
This plane will be a joy to fly. I just saw Motion RC is going to carry the FMS 3M glider. Enjoy the assembly of this big bird.
RCWeaven FPV thanks..oh that one is very nice made (fms)
I really enjoy your channel I really rc planes
Nice one. I have that engine in a Hangar 9 Valiant and it runs a treat. Lots of power. Check the throttle spindle
And put a flat on it for the pinch bolt. Mine didn’t have one and the arm slipped on the shaft and caused a little crash.
gt40driver1 oh thanks for info!!
What prop do you have on(size?)
At the moment I am using a 20x10 wooden prop. Full flap and full power gets my Valiant airborne in under 1m. Use the Valiant for glider towing on this prop too. Regards Martin.
gt40driver1 oh thanks...i just found one prop like that...perfect ;)
Hope to see it fly very soon... 😇😇😇😇😇 Can't wait for it. My Snappy Salute to you sir.
Blue Marshall i hope so to but i’m not
Sure if it will be before next year ;(
That plane is almost big enough for Captain Blaz to sit on and fly!
Criss { Lastname } yes almost ;))) ahahaha
That is big - and that is a lovely engine! I'm really looking forward to this one! Definitely do some tugging and get a guest cameraman so we can watch you both flying :)
It's only a matter of time before you guys have a quarter scale Corsair or Hellcat with a Moki 250!!!
avipatable oh this is Roberts dream to have it one day....
Me too! ...one day - or a Spitfire with a Kolm :)
you guys are cool,i always laugh when i watch youir videos...amazing people!!

Carrboro_Chapelhill Fpv oh yes it is...
Nice!!!!!
Buddy Shackleford oh yeah!!!
I want to see a video tour of where you guys keep all these planes because you seem to have something new every week.
Roger Blake yes we have filmed my hanger..video soon ;)
OOOOH YEA That bird is sick,I can't believe the deal you got on that, that paint job is so slick I can't wait to see it fly Captian Blaz will do a great job I know it. I have a suggestion on how to keep it, I would rig it up so it is suspended from the ceiling like in a plane museum its to sexy to hide in a closet ("No one puts baby in a corner") haha
Mobius-1 oh yes i have my planes like this in my hanger ;)
Amazing bigness! If the planes get any larger you guys can get inside and follow Capt. Boris in his real plane, haha! xD
Mario Verkerk hmm good idea ;))
Oh yeah this one is a beautiful plane Captain Blaz And good trade for plane, it is a very large plane Captain Blaz, you can make landing gear like this one landing gear looks very strong
JR B oh yes very big boy it is!!! Cannot wait to fly it...
@@elpunto231 I can not wait to see it fly also Captain Blaz.
Cool !!
ricky taylor thanks!!!!
Awesome plane! Awesome engine! Be careful - I believe the propeller you showed in the video is meant for an electric motor. You will need a prop designed to handle the pulsations of that giant engine. All the best from snowy Nebraska!
Tim Ryan hmm id dosent say anything to be for elektric ;/..se will se...salute to you!!!
@@elpunto231 Hi Blaz, please do me a favor before you run that prop on a giant motor like that. The large diameter XOAR propellers I have where the blades are taller than the hub when lying flat on a table, face up, are meant for electric power. They are not marked as electric. The large diameter XOAR propellers meant for gas & glow have a hub that is just as thick as the blades for more strength. Please check the model number (stamped on the side of the hub) against the XOAR website, just to be safe. Just concerned for your safety my friend! All the best from nervous Nebraska!
Tim Ryan oh thank you for that!!!i will look at it tomorow....thanks again...
Dudes voice is DIAMOND
ther1rida ther1rida ahaha thanks!!
beautiful guys there getting bigger and bigger just awesome cant wait to see this baby ,,,be well my friends talk soon.............K

1976axerhand hmm we will se and i hope that it does ;)
Hi Robert, Hi Blaz´-- can you give any informations regarding the " dry weight"...without any RC electronic ?
Wolfgang Rumpel i will look in manual
That is one BFP!!
edwin kania oh yes it is ;)
What size servos are required for that large a plane? Do you need a separate battery for ignition? So many questions!!! Congratulations as that plane is fantastic!!
Michael Sherman standard but a bit stronger...yes i will use 4 cell NiMh baterey...
Oh yeah, bigger is better !!! Good Luck for the Optimus Prime !!!
Frank 1960 yes but not always ;)))
@@@elpunto231 - I know, I know, and i know that You know ! We are on same frequency ;o)))
will be waiting
Robert Geiter yes me to!!!
WOW! That HK Boxer engine looks dwarfed next to that plane...I was just wondering would that engine you got from RC Safari be more suited to that airplane? Yes you got the idea, sand those wing joiners smooth so they go in and out easy. You can make a center wing joiner out of aluminum for more strength. Just add a string with a loop for towing to the center joiner. Or make a servo tow release. If you make the wing two piece, I would suggest adding wing struts also...And with a little engineering you can make the wing bolt on with 4 bolts. Man, I got to find one of those planes now...
Steven Stowe oh that one is 26 cc and this is 53cc it will be more than enough....yes buy one if you can!!
this looks great Ideal for what Im after....where could I purchase this from. love your videos you crazy guys.
Nice video hey !!!hehe
Arnold Pearl oh thanks!!!! Cheers!!!
The Babbling Preacher, hey!
With 8.4k subscribers now!:D
Where can I find it?
It's calling me and saying to put a eagletree vector flight system with 1.5 watt 900mhz control with 2.4 2 watt vtx
Carrboro_Chapelhill Fpv it was the first i saw in many years..maybe someware you can get one..
The bigger the better!
John Mc Donald hmm maybe it is ;)
Twins are the solution to all of life's problems!

Fantastic model Captain Blaz!
What size servos are you going to fit?
TheM6aae thanks..standad goes in...
You guys are great fun to watch, not only amazing R/C flying Specialists but also as an entertaining Duo ! So far, I have watched many, many of your videos and am looking forward to each and every new upload. Keep-up the good work ! I do have a quick question regarding the little Red Micrometer in this video at the 16:40 minute mark. I would like to purchase this little device myself. Who makes this micrometer ? Thanks
James Obst thanks...hmmm i bought it in our store called SPAR....it was very cheap...next time i will read what is written on it....
Mama mia, such a big plane and so cheap hey
Michael Karamanolis oh very very cheap....
Its enormous and super cheesy looking but hey, its unique and kind of cool at the same time.
Can't wait to see this baby fly. Who would design such a thing?
ezr168 yes you are right about that...strange but interesting...
I recently bought a Saito 180 on a Yellow aircraft Su-31... I haven't flown it yet but ultimately I see the engine transplanted on something lazy and huge like this plane in this video!
bee dee oh saitos are very very good engines..you will love it!!!
