I have an Xfly Eagle. Before I maiden it I really need to understand the Gyro "Lock" mode. There's no real info on it. Does it function similar to Spektrum's SAFE .. let go the sticks and the model will auto level ?

I have loads of fun with mine . I use a 4s 3000Mah in mine and flies great. It needs the nose weight otherwise it tries to tip stall on landing
