Damn. Really was hoping I'd like this album, but everything felt so samey. Which feels so crazy to say when there is clearly so much unique funk in this album. Best part to me was Let Me Snack. Louis Cole is at his best with high tempo high energy music imo and the idea of traditional Louis Cole funk successfully combined with Clowncore could be such a unique and amazing listening experience if he can pull it off.
Something like Freddie Dredd and Louis Cole would be a great combo, but I'm sure Louis Cole could pull it off on his own if he simply took inspiration from Freddie's persona and vibe and combined it with Clowncore and his traditional funk.
