Would be a great journey to follow....with a week by week update .....would be great and new content....✌️later
Thanks man! Of course I'll document it but I'm just trying to cure my crazy lol.
Brother, your beard is epic. You're pointing out your "bald spots" and "weak areas" but you're the only one that can see it man it's all in your head. The beard is extremely thick dense and full. No one, literally no one but you can see these "problem areas" I promise. I'm the same with my beard I am my own worst critic! But no one else sees it.
Thank you! You're absolutely right. We are our own worst critics lol BUT my crazy/critique 🤪 is getting the best of me. I'll hold off until at least the weekend but I feel like I'm gonna cut it down 😀🤷🏾♂️.
@@lumpvision5746 bro, I'm EXACTLY the same. I see all the weaknesses in my beard to the point of total obsession. It's not healthy and I know it. But no one else even sees it. I go over mine with a fine tooth comb. You're saying you have a weaker side to your mustache, but they look identical to the average person 😂 I know this because I'm the same way with mine.
@@jackkelly3697 🤣🤣 we're a bunch of bearded psychos!
I’m seeing a gap I think in my cheek line now that I’m raising it. I’m gonna give it some time to see.
Smh... the damn struggle! I hope that gap fills in for you!
Just shaved mine off for a fresh start!! 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😢😢
Why did you decide to shave and start over?
To get a fresh start. I had way to many split ends and knots!!! I really miss the bigger beard and so do my kids! LOL
@@johnniefielder1622 ahhh so that means you gotta stay on top of your maintenance. A trim every couple months or so will probably help, no?
@@lumpvision5746 YES SIR!!
I’m experiencing the same problem…. The derma roller is working.
Cool. Hearing that you've had success with a dream roller is good for people to hear.
Honestly, part of me does want to cuz it down and start over. I'm pretty confident that everything will grow back just fine, MAYBE even better.
I say don’t cut it, but you have to do you. You have to like how it looks, for you. I’m the same way, I have cut my beard down way too many times. They tell me to stay out of the mirror. Great point about coming straight down in the back. I hate when the barber does that!! Let me keep my natural curve and natural line, PLEASE. They seem to do it even when you show them. Is that to much to ask. The Journey 🙏🏽
All facts!
Normally I don’t recommend for anyone to shave, but a lot more could come from this process. New vids about starting over and your progression through the new journey. I’m not against it
Lol yeah, I'm definitely going to document it but it's definitely not for content. I genuinely want to attempt to grow the beard that I feel Iike I can grow. Not saying that's what you're saying. I'm just saying lol
@@lumpvision5746 oh okay. And I understand brotha, I have a few trouble spots too. I hope it works out for you 👊
@@BeardofHorrors thank you! 👊🏾
Keep letting it grow bro ⚔️🎩👊🍻🏴ML&R
That's what I think too. Trim it down to look presentable, just no line up. Very important to use beard oils especially in cold weather so the hair can grow freely from the skin.
Consider this... maybe 1% of people notice your thinner spots, but 100% of people will notice a newly bald face. Besides, that area grows slower on most people than the rest of the beard. So chances are it will always be at least slightly thinner. Looks great as it is.
Thank you! You're absolutely right. It's all in my head and it never stops lol. I've cut it down a bit before but not super low. I can't do the bald face so I'll still have a beard. The curiosity/possibilities never go away for good. Hopefully this makes me stop wondering.
@@lumpvision5746 I know this is a late response but there is nothing wrong with your beard what I would do if use a straight razor and line up your cheek line to the thickest part of your beard and call those weak spots fly away hairs that you really don't need anyway
I would keep using the Derma Roller in those areas thru out the winter season and if you don't get the results you want shave your beard down in the spring season
🤣🤣 No way! I gotta be ready when the spring and summer come. I'll be in hibernation except for when it's time to go to work!
Good Point!
Not shaving mines off until I have a year in I cut it twice when it was shorter
Are you saying that you're going to grow for 1 year just to cut it off?
@@lumpvision5746 yes I'm trying to reach my full potential I've shaved it down twice in 3months
@@alanrealty4048 gotcha!
I went down to a 12 mm after growing it for two years just from damage and it’s bounced back like crazy. It’s grown so much healthier and better than it was before because I cut off all the damage. If I was in your shoes I would just let it grow out or just line it up to where it’s almost natural.
Cool. I'm glad you bounced back better than ever. I'm trying to be like you 💪🏾.
Is these a good time to use beard balm since it's getting cold? The reason I ask is because I use oil and I notice today that my beard was real frizzy.
In my opinion, yes! It's perfect time to use beard balm the trap in moisture and help protect your beard from the cold.
Thanks
I've had the same problem with my beard, a few gaps in some areas. So I've already shaved my beard off and started to grow it back again.
How's the regrowth going for you?
@@lumpvision5746 I'm in my 2nd week of growing back my beard, I'm going through the itchy faze been using a derma roller, so hopefully this time I should get a even beard growth coverage..
@@fitzroyburke68 cool. I hope everything works out the way you want it to.
Get a derm roller
I really don’t see why it’s a big deal to cutting it down in the first place it’s going to grow back anyway guys be acting like your only going to get one beard in their lifetime you see B with the beard did it before so did our boy bdaught too if you think it going to help then it’s the move for you
You make some EXCELLENT points and pose a great question! What's the big deal?! Side note: I definitely cut my beard down but not basically off which is what I'm like 90% sure I gonna do.
I would kill for your beard right about now. I would leave it alone and just let it fill in. Or fade the bad spots and and do a crisp lineup
Thank you BUT it's too late. I cut my beard down a few weeks ago. Besides, I've been through all that you have mentioned. I'll will let it be if the same issues return.
@@lumpvision5746 I feel you. I’m thinking about cutting mines down because for some reason under my neck doesn’t grow as good as it did before.
@@Mist8314 is it really curly or do really feel like your beard isn't growing right?
@@lumpvision5746 a little of both lol
