Just got this watch at walmart for $4 on clearance. Love walmart watches clearance section. Thanks for this video I was confused with so many functions as normally I wear f91 or a158. I love the bigger display and the multiple alarms function. 100m water resistance with 10 years battery is crazy too especially for a watch with so many alarms and function.
Just bought this watch today at Wal-Mart I had a G-Shock(its in my camping gear now) but it just was too bulky and heavy on my small wrist. But this watch is amazing. And thank you for showing how to turn off the laps I dont need it so thank you. Its nice and super lightweight
Good tutorial. I like this watch so far. My only complaint: I can't hear the alarm/ beeps So the alarm / timer is useless for me.. It needs to be a louder.
I would like to see you compare this watch to the Timex T5H591 or T5E901. They are very similar to this watch. The Timex has a strap which locks down also.
The Casio is better where specifications are concerned. Casio has 10-year battery, Timex does not. Casio has 60-lap memory, Timex has 30-lap. Casio strap band is wider than the Timex 16mm. Both have the same 100M water resistance rating. Both have 3 alarms. The only thing the Timex has over the Casio is more alarm functionality with ability to set weekday/weekend alarms, and that's it. Otherwise, the Casio is the better watch.
Hi! How is the backlight of this watch? 20 years ago Casio had great backlight features on WS 110H and ACL 200. Nowadays, the backlight on Casio watches is terrible.
The best non-EL Casio watch night light right now is on the AE1200 with its dual amber bulbs. Perfect light and perfect color. I would rate the WS1000H a close second to the AE1200. Best of the best however is still the green/blue EL (ElectroLuminescent) whether it's on a cheap F105W, A168 or an upper model G-SHOCK.

I saw this at Target recently, i thought it looked good. They are really taking on Timex with this model, but keeping the Casio style, and not skimping on features.

@@rmenga Yes, you go back to stpo-watch mode, zero it out, then press right button for that. Then go back to recall for total time.
I wish for you could also set seconds on timer/countdown.

Is there anyway to turn it off of the 24 hour mode? For example, it counts 11:59 PM as that, instead of 23:59.
Just press the start/stop bottom to switch over to 12 hr.
This was beeping over and over in the evening and I couldn't stop it. I didn't see anything in the instructions
