Most extreme elimination challenge was the funniest show on TV... used to get stoned and watch it for hours. Yall should check that out. It was a dubbed Japanese show. American Wipeout is filmed in America I think
The Titans are going to be #1 this year with Malik Willis at the helm. That or the Steelers with Kenny Pickett. The Seahawks had their glory with real good players like Matt Hasselbeck, Russell Wilson, and Marshawn Lynch, but they suck now. 7-10 proves that. Just accept it. Let's go Music City!
@Kurt Katze are you really this insecure about your shitty ass "titans"💀😂 you're on a video about British guys reacting to Wipeout tf does football gotta do with it... just seeing a Seahawks fan here made you lose it emotionally and feel the need to rant about why you think the titans are "so good" lol. Take the insecurities over your mediocre (at best) sports franchise and go somewhere you're wanted😂
This was a show that came on during the slow summer tv programming and it was hilarious. Regular people not super athletes running these courses. Pure gold.
This used to be on ABC/Disney. A couple of years after ABC/D cancelled Wipeout it was replaced with Holey Moley. Holey Moley is a miniature golf show produced by Steph Curry, the basketball player. He is an avid golf fan and plays in celebrity golf tournaments. Rob Riggle is hilarious as one of the hosts.
So about 6 years ago there was a company that had licensed the Wipeout name and traveled around the country. It was sort of like a smaller version of the Spartan race but it was call the Wipeout Race. I did it when it came to my city. So much fun. It was like a 3 mile run but it had these Wipeout like obstacles you had to get through. Like the Big Balls and the swinging arms.
I have a cousin that was a contestant on the American version and she said it was filmed in the San Fernando Valley, about 75 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles
Wipeout first aired in 2008, and ran until 2014, per IMDB. During that time, seven seasons aired. It was later rebooted in 2020 (with episodes airing in 2021), complete with 20 new episodes. For the reboot, the network brought in John Cena and Nicole Byer to be the co-hosts.
The original American version ran from 2008 - 2014. ABC (the station who aired the showed) canceled it. In 2021, a reboot of the show started airing on TBS. Several other counties also have versions of the show.
I believe the show Takeshi’s Castle was the first show to do this stuff. It seemed like it had already been on for a while when I moved to Japan in 2005
I could not say what channel it is on, but Wipeout is still airing on US Cable TV. One station in particular one night a week it is back to back episodes all night long.
I miss that show! I think it's still a bit of a thing in Japan. I think it was called Takeshi's Castle or something like that back in the 80s originally. I used to know a guy that traveled to Japan every year to compete and pretty much paid his rent from it. Cheers!
I remember watching a show back in the day on Spiketv and G4tv similar to this. The characters talked like a kungfu movie but said funny and ridiculous things.
I can't remember the hosts & audience (safe assumption) has laughed this much from start to finish as this upload in idk how long. If, after a few, it loses traction- drink and/or smoke first, then watch 3 more. 😄 John Henson was one of the original commentators (he also did Talk Soup on E! - funny guy). Gd time, thnx 👍✌️ Be well, all.
honestly, I dont wanna know how many got injured during these games. you can literally see that the water is barely going to your waist at max and with the parts not even being water and dirt muddy water instead, you wont go out with a smile on your face. its easy to brake your back in it.
Takeshi Castle was the show in Japan. Then it was chopped up and dubbed over in English and called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. It was hilarious and just 90% fails and toilet humor. This was America’s attempt at creating an actual show based on that show. The courses were great, as you can see, but the commentary didn’t even come close to MXC which is, in part, why it failed.
The ineptness and unathletic nature of many of them result in unwarranted injuries. It's like they're trying to break their neck/back or tear a ligament.
On top of reacting to MXC you guys could react to Sidemen Total Wipeout. They rented out the course and Ethan gets particularly jacked up on the spinny bits you liked.
Wipeout is still around, I think it's on TBS. John Cena is the host/co-host now. Gronk's girlfriend is the one who interviews the contestants on there also.
"PC Brigade." Come on Mike. There are so many TV shows in the US and while these clips may be funny to watch, enough people simply didn't watch the show. Nobody watches Ninja Warrior either. It's on very strange channels late at night when nothing else is on to show.
I thoroughly enjoyed how hard Mike laughed at this.
When OB Mike loses it, you KNOW that shit was funny!
Yea that was funny
I've never seen Mike so happy before 😂😂
I don’t know why it stopped airing, but it’s back on tv now. The hosts commentary is what makes this show the funniest
Yeah John and Johnny lmao
Ooops Great minds think alike. Shout out to John, John and Jill!

MxC was hilarious
I heard Wipeout was in Argentina or Brazil. But yes mxc was hilarious.
@@PeterPulciani Total Wipeout is in Argentina
Ive had so many genuine laughing fits watching this show.

The feet to the back of the head is called a scorpion (first time I heard it was from Rob Dyrdek on MTV’s “Ridiculousness”).
Mike's laughing at 7:00 is contagious lol
This was a show that came on during the slow summer tv programming and it was hilarious. Regular people not super athletes running these courses. Pure gold.
Reminds me of my early 20s when I would get drunk with friends and then raid the fridge late at night and watch MXC or Iron Chef.
Iron Chef.
20 year old…. I can handle that = Walks away
40 year old…. I can handle that = “call the ambulance”

It just moved to tbs
Wipe out in USA is still on, just not on a major network in prime time. It airs now on TBS and TNT but usually at a very late hour.
Reruns or are there still new episodes?

No thank you.😁😂🤣🤧
I can’t believe you guys dug out Wipeout!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I LOVED that show!!! It was hilarious!!! As soon as I saw the title of this video I clicked!
RIP to the guy that had a heart attack and died on wipeout, the most legendary wipeout of all

Thats what you call an overachiever

San Fernando Valley is only 15 miles from LA.
She said it was out at Agoura Hills, is that San Fernando valley ?
Every now and then when a need a good laugh I come back to this video 😂
I haven't laughed this hard in forever. Great way to end my night.
MXC! MXC! Guy Le Douche the greatest TV character of all time
I laughed so hard, thank you OB! I need this!
My husband applied to be on Wipeout years ago and was called for an interview. He chickened out on the 2nd interview. Was so upset.

I'm not gonna lie, like I wouldn't even have to win some sort of prize at the end. I would just do it because it like hella fun.
It’s been mentioned, but MXC was so much better. You have to check out a compilation from that show.
I remember watching it on MTV a long time ago. So nostalgic.
I loved that show!

@@A-A-RonDavis2470 When was it ever on MTV? It was always on Spike (formerly CourtTV and now TruTV) in my area.

The fails are the only reason I watched lol. This didn't disappoint
WOW I REALLY loved this one! I have never seen this before....
I had the same exact thought as Daz with the added- so is this how we could make golf a sport or exciting to watch? 😂😂 this one was hilarious
Gonna throw in heavy for multiple MXC reactions. Totally up your avenue. Have a pint and howl laughing! Don't think they're likely to get © striked; been liberal over the years with content on YT.
hahahaha I was actually a contestant on this show. I remember it was season 2 but not sure the episode.
the final area is called the wipeout zone it is crazy starts with a catapult launch

MXC
American Gladiators was in the early 90's. Possibly something to pre date that as well tho.
Wipeout is back, they now have John Cena as one of the hosts.
If you guys like this, you NEED to check out MXC. It'll be something you've never seen before!
I used to watch this back in its heyday, especially with Jill Wagner. She is of course married now, but at least she's one of my Facebook friends.

I'm so glad I was raised with this show.
It's still on over here. It's Just started its new Season. St. Louis, Mo USA
The commentary is what's really makes the show funny.

Great idea for another installment of Office Blokes Try 😂
I miss this show so much this needs brought back
If this were an Olympic event, I would buy tickets every single time.
You should do a reaction to MXC: Most Extreme Elimination Challenge.
Wipeout originated in Japan as did Ninja Warriors. In America it's still on as a summer replacement
Most extreme challenge puts wipeout to shame lol
Yes you're right at the end if you made it that far whoever gets through the fastest wins the money.
Definitely some great moments on wipeout but you can't beat MXC if you want a good laugh.
Absolutely brilliant.

TBS just did a reboot last year with host John Cena and Nicole Byer. Really not the same but they try. Shows how good the old hosts were.
Wipeout was an American show and they did a British version, like they did with Jokers.
Please react to MXC. Most Extreme Challenge Elimination. Its worth it.
