Thanks Ryan. This was really helpful! Can you talk more about parkes regens versus regens when going down the road? Mine never tells me when it's happening. I have a DD13 Freightliner. Only if I ever have to idle for many hours, does it show that a region is needed. Do you recommend doing a forced regen after many many miles of driving when the motor is heated up?

I'm owner operator 2017 freightliner M2, what diagnostic tool will you recommend. The OTR diagnostic you can use the reset tool too or you have to get the OTR reset tool separate.
Hey boss I keep getting a 25% in 3/2 hours on my Peterbilt 386 cummins ISX .. then it disappears took it to Peterbilt they didn’t find any codes or store codes in ECM. And idea what it is ? Maybe fault sensor ?
I'm considering getting 1 of these. I have a T660 KW with MX13. Absolute junk, unfortunately. Currently in situation where getting a code, every time it goes to the garage, code is inactive. They've checked pump, nozzle and replaced pump control module. They've checked wiring once. Basically they say only solution is open check book to continue to look for wiring issue that they admit they may not be able to find. After treatment system is the worst thing to happen to trucks. 23 years in trucking, seriously considering getting out cuz of these systems. The down time & repairs are ridiculous. These systems, admittedly by dealers are just prone to frequent malfunctioning.

@@thomaswilson8634 Dealership in NC found a replacement Nox sensor at a TX dealership and had it overnighted. I'm still on backorder for Paccar part but I'm rolling for the time being. I think the brand is Roadforce and it has 1 year warranty. $400

Yes but if the truck has a fleet lock you may need the code but he doesn't say because if it needs a fleet code it's useless 😅
Have you heard of guys with heavy PTO usage having trouble?? I own 2022 Gefco 30K drill rig with Cummins X-15 (2450) on a peterbilt

This is work for 2021 Freghtliner Cascadia DD15
Good question, probably call Otr customer service to check. On their website, it works for DD engine up to 2020.
Ryan, I just hooked up my OTR performance and my aftertreatment 1 SCR intake temp is at 32°f and stays there. Ambient temp is 70°f or so. All other values look good and are moving up as I let truck run. What should my next step be? (No active or inactive faults). Cummins x15
Hi Michael, what issue are you trying to use this tool for? It seems your SCR install temp sensor is bad. Temp sensor issue normally doesn’t result into a fault code.
@@truckingandfixing. I just purchased this as a proactive measure after watching your video on it. Then once installed, I noticed this value was out of place. Overall, my truck is running good and I try to stay ahead of things and replace before there is an issue. Appreciate all your videos and vast knowledge. Keep up the good work.

Ryan do you need to buy the subscription every year? Or it's it's works without a subscription.
You have to buy subscriptions every year! You could also consider PDI tuner, which don’t have subscriptions
Wait. If the app has to sign into your account when your phone gets connected to the plug, does it mean that your phone must have internet connection or otherwise it won’t work? There are plenty of spots in WY, ID, MT, NV, like Outlook Pass ID for example, where there is ZERO service on my phone. Does that mean that in areas with no internet this OTR tool becomes useless?
Correct. Internet is required. Wi-Fi or cellular service request to be able to login to the app. I use Verizon, coverage is pretty good.
They claim to have an offline mode also but you have to have logged in online at least once in the last 14 days
Which tool u recommend for volvo d13. I'm willing to pay upto 1 grand but no silly subscriptions

Yes, buy the pro version like mine if you want to hook different brands of engine. instead of the engine specific.

I have a Peterbuilt And just the other day I found out that they won’t clear my speed limit of 75mph. They told me it’s all based on your steer tire speed rating. I have cheaper steers and are only rated for 75 mph. Next set I buy will have a higher speed rating lol

Ryan hi..i have chance to buy my first truck..have two KW t680.. One 6x2 Paccar engine with a little leak on the rear seal and super single $45000, the other KW t680 6x4 with 700k no leak at all $47000 dual...what do you think???
How many miles does 6x2 have? And what engine is 6x4. In my opinion, 6x2 with a super single does not sound like a good combination.
@@truckingandfixing 6x2 have 780000 but the little oil drop coming from main seal bother me...and 6x4 is Pacar engine...no leaks at all with 698000 miles on it...and right super single on 6x2 will be a nightmare in snow too.
Between these two, I would go with the 6x4 option.

Most are only concerned about speed. There are also other parameters you have to adjust including injection. You do this in my trucks. You will be taking a greyhound home. Unbelievably childish.
Does this change the governor for the speed ?
