No it wont. The background color is white because default html pages are white. If you want to see it in a different color edit the html via "Inspect Element" in chrome and add a style for background with your desired color in hex format.
Hi, there probably is a way to fix this although my knowledge on this is not big enough. I would make al long inactive time on the end of the animation. So it stands still for a while.
