Why doesn't Elon just apologize and say he didn't intend for it to look like a Nazi salute and pronounce publicly that he has no affiliation to the Nazi Party?
Why do all good, normal, conservative, godly people have explain themselves to the sick perceptions of brainwashed, hateful people that get their fix, and identity by condemning others?
@@dl7596 Elon is Godly Has he even called himself a christian before? Let alone religious? I bet he's like Trump who can't even name a single bible verse LMAO
I hope people know he has aspegers syndrome, a form of autism. You can see he really can't communicate very clearly or put his words together without struggling.
People are unable to deal with their bias. They aren't trained in logic and aren't aware of their deficiencies. I would love Elon to do a proper salute, since I stopped respecting him in 2018 when he insulted Thai cave rescue divers in a very disgusting fashion, and since then he stated orders of magnitude more nonsense and lies. This gesture is weird and it is giving bad vibes for sure, but I don't think it has anything to do with a certain party from last century.
Use of this salute is illegal in modern-day Germany (Strafgesetzbuch section 86a), Austria, and Slovakia. The use of any Nazi phrases associated with the salute is also forbidden.
I'm awkward. I never accidentally said nazi stuff, hung out with nazis, retweeted nazis, endorsed nazis or did nazi salutes. I'd buy your analysis of the salute if it wasn't for the first things.... he shows who he is, I believe him.
They are attacking him and his life's work but he is still balln. So he is getting off some of that pressure with, "fk all y'all, I'm still rich bitch"!!!😂😂😂😂
@nishan375 fact he backs the extreme right and funds them to do his bidding. My daughter is on the spectrum, and so are a lot of people I know. They are taught and have people showing examples of what is the correct way of being striving for good. So no I don't think it was just his awkward it was learn behavior acceptable to his up ringing which is his mother's family and the moved to S Africa because the believe in the appartide, but of course it wouldn't be that.
Musk does speak fondly of his maternal grandparents, who were prominent members of the Canadian Nazi Party and later the South African Nazi Party. He spent a lot of time with them growing up, especially after his parents divorced when he was 10 years old. He also actively supports the German far right political Party AfG and broadcast a live stream on X of him in conversation with its leader.
The people of the 1930’s Nazi party were not “far right.” People on the far right do not want to seize private property, factories, businesses, land… and make it “Property of the State.” It wasn’t just Jews who had there possessions taken by the state. Many people who owned properties in Germany other than Jews had their properties “Nationalized.” The Nazi party was a socialist, leftist movement. It was the National Socialist Party. This is something the left will not admit, don’t want us to know, and will mislead us about. Just like they don’t want us to remember that the American Democratic Party, the left not the right, protected slave owners and promoted slavery in the U.S.
I find your derangement fascinating. To a conspiracy theorist, every detail can be reimagined to be part of the conspiracy. If he had said the line first, you’d just say he was providing cover for his secret Nazi dog-whistle. There’s just no way for real life to penetrate the brain once it gets to that point.
Dr. G while I appreciate your expertise you can’t look at the salute in a vacuum. His grandparents were part of the Nazi party of Canada, his family moved to SA and supported an apartheid regime. Elon Musk has demonstrated notable engagement with far-right political entities, particularly in Europe.. nothing happens in isolation.
Also he's a troll. He's been boosting and dog whistling Nazi ideas ever since he bought Twitter. This was just him trolling and pandering to a chunk of his Twitter followers. He doesn't have any deep seated feeling towards any ideology except growing his net worth. Really the whole MAGA movement is 1/3 trolling, 1/3 blaming minorities and 1/3 owning the libs. Elon's Nazi salute accomplishes all 3.
You’re absolutely right, there’s no coincidences, and this is the perfect example. In addition to the gesture, listen to the comment regarding “the fork on a road for human civilization” and the “future of civilization is assured”. There’s such a dark tone to this statement that makes my hair stand up. Besides the exerted effort from Dr. G to make us believe or diminish our interpretation of Musk’s actions, due to his stature. There’s also no sense for a man like Donald Trump with such stature to commit the many crimes he’s done, “it makes no sense” Dr. G but he has. I hope that you use more common sense than just body language, analyze your body language in this video and the emphasis on your expertise on the subject of neo-nazis so that people will trust what you’re saying. Let’s not forget about (upbringing); we easily apply it to children in the Middle East, assuming they’re all terrorists but we have a hard time applying it to other cultures. I’ve seen it in the diversity of cultures across this land, in the Irish, Cuban, Italians, Chinese, Jewish communities; multi-generations born in this country; Americans but they reflect their parents and grandparents and where they came from. Elon Musk reflects his grandparents, he’s a dark individual, plus he has an agenda that most of us don’t even have a clue but it’s in the Bible. I leave you with this, the SpaceX program, the nazis were working in multiple projects related to aerodynamics, spaceships and to space exploration; German scientists were very close to a major breakthrough in these areas. So, I don’t believe that the grandson of one of them, accomplished SpaceX by himself.
I talk to a lot of these people on the regular. When these people say it is a nazi salute, it's a rhetorical game they play, which has two functions. One, it ties them (politically illegitimate) in with someone powerful (politically legitimate), which sometimes has the effect of part of the legitimacy rubbing off on them. Two, it is amusing within their own circles. So, then, regardless of whether any of them believe Elon meant it as a nazi salute or not, they would have the exact same reaction. They call it this for rhetorical and comedic purposes. They love trolling and identifying innocuous things as bigoted dogwhistles, like the whole ok hand symbol years ago. Me, personally, I was in the room when this happened, and I am totally convinced that it wasn't a salute. The possibility didn't even cross my mind until I saw the headlines later.
If Elon wanted to celebrate the mustache man, iam sure he would do it the right way. Its not just lifting the arm out to the side! It's the whole body posture, standing still or walking.. And the arm goes straight up and forward with the palm down and all 5 fingers pressed together. Anyone doing like Elon in front of the mustasche man, would get in deep shit.
it's blatantly clear that he's trying to use. humor to distract from his poor choice in hand gesture. might I remind you that this man aspires virtually zero world views in connection with neo Nazis. he is for: electric vehicles. h1-b visas for foreign people to take American jobs. using rockets to send people to other. planets and not put nukes on them and bomb the Brits. he is loved by the Jews. he was a Democrat like 4 years ago (although tbh this is a weak point as Democrats are quite authoritarian) he is moderately for free speech (he doesn't allow antisemitism or Nazi rhetoric on his platform). overall he's genuinely a pretty shit Nazi.
TWO DAYS later Musk visited Germany and attended a rally for the AfD, a far right political party known for extremist views on immigration, known for trivializing the Holocaust, and known to have partnered with other openly Neo-Nazi organizations. The AfD also chose “Alles für Deutschland” as their media slogan. For those of you not acquainted with the slogan, it means "“Everything for Germany.” These same words were engraved on the daggers carried by Nazi stormtroopers during World War II. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
Not to mention, his twitter is full of far-right support, and he is openly friendly with admitted Nazis as well as the organisations you mentioned; 'A man is known by the company he keeps'
He's not just attending rallies, he's actively funding far right parties across Europe, AfD being the main one but also in the U.K. I'm glad someone else has finally said this! "quack, quack"
So the AfD are Neo-Nazis? Supported by 20% of the German people, in some places near 40%? Or just a far-right group but you can't tell the difference? Given that anyone on the Right in the USA are also termed Nazi's, and Trump was called or implied to be Hitler, I'd say the leftist fear-mongering on that point is laughable.
I am from Germany and you are talking bullshit. You are spreading false information and twisting the truth. Why you need to do that? Are you on a mission?
He does. Go watch the 2 hr interview of Elon Musk and Alice Weidel of the AFD German party clearly state “Hitler was a terrible human being and the German history was horrific” with Elon in agreement. Just because you don’t know, doesn’t mean its not out there. Its very easy to find.
@@blablabla1196 WIKI: Alternative for Germany (Alternative für Deutschland, AfD) is a far-right and right-wing populist political party in Germany. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany's domestic intelligence agency, has classified the party as a "suspected extremist" organisation. Elon Musk: Only the AfD can save Germany.
I recommend you test this salute by filming yourself imitating Musk; 2 times with the same intensity, and a bitter facial expression! Then post it, and tag family, friends and colleagues. Good luck!
Yeah no shit! He was a just a taaaad bit overzealous and aggressive to be showing "love." But then again, who exactly was he trying to show "love" to.... 🤔
Kurt Braddock, a professor of communication at American University who studies extremism, radicalization and terrorism, said the gesture was a fascist salute and “people shouldn’t doubt what they saw.” “I know what I saw, I know what the response to it was among elements of the extreme right including neo-Nazis, Braddock said. “And none of it is a laughing matter.”
This professor and all of you who ignore his words- as well as the multiple examples of other politicians like Tampon Tim, Obama, Hillary, etc. doing the same thing- are emotionally weak, and incorrigible. Useful idiots, you are.
Unfortunately not - our German Law not even allows ud to stop this grifter, narcist and dogfish spreading far right wing ideologies and interfering/manipulating our elections now.
It doesn't matter so much that the salute was made even if it was completely innocent. After the fact when people were saying it was a salute he had every opportunity to say it wasn't and he was sorry if it came across as one - he didn't
I would salute to Trump too. This is a big win and he's a hero that's still fighting the good fight. But no matter what, the point remains that it wasn't a Nazi salute. He did that naturally out of overwhelming feelings of cleaning out the immense corruption
Agreed. I would give him the benefit of the doubt if he did this. Otherwise, all I have to go off of is all his real life actions, which support he is at least a mild supporter of people that practice Nazi ideology. Plus, this guy saying he worked in the government and knows how a Nazi salute is traditionally done, and this is not it, is forgetting the fact Elon isn't an expert that is by his own words awkward. So using his own analysis, we could also conclude that Elon intended to Nazi salute but was a bit awkward and unfamiliar with the gesture. Add on that General that confirmed Trump is a fascist, meaning Elon could be very excited thinking this was the only election to rebirth the Nazi ideology into the mainstream conscious while talking in this video.
Might want to rethink that assessment, Dr G. Elon told Germans not to be feel bad about their ancestors being Nazis a couple days AFTER this warm inauguration moment.
I think people see what they want to see or suits their agenda, very unlikely someone of his intelligence would knowingly be doing nazi salutes to be honest.
There's one a difference between teaching Americans about slavery and its another thing to teach young Americans to hate themselves because their ancestors did something that they were not around to stop it. This is where right-wing movements get their fuel from. It's an overcorrection.
@@hendu9442 when you are doing it at a white nationalist political rally, for white nationalists, saying that those people should not feel bad about what their grandparents did... the same thing that they, themselves want to do... and then them telling that party that they are the only way to save Germany... ...the far-right white nationalists, that other countries' white nationalists will distance themselves from, because they are afraid that associated with them will hurt election chances. I would say that *those* people should, indeed, feel pretty terrible for wanting to do what their grandparents did.
Exactly! Nazi salute or not, he repeatedly supports and associates with extreme right-wing, racist individuals and organizations. He regularly attacks and lies about those who oppose that idealogy. You say he wouldn't intentionally do a nazi salute, but have you ever heard of a Freudian Slip?
The fact he’s done the gesture at that point in time and in that context, shows he’s inadequate for the political position he’s holding. In the political arena you need to have a sense of political sensitivity and know how to address crowds without causing commotion every single time during a public outing.
i agree, if you're going to stand next to the president (who is already stirring up quite a bit of controversy)you should really be more aware of how your actions will be percieved
Have you noticed that none of the people that are involved with Trump know how to speak without offending people or sounding racist so no wonder he's surrounding himself with people that don't know any better but Elon Musk is not even an elected official so he shouldn't even be anywhere near our politics
If It is just "your opinion" then why are you marketing it as "the truth" in your title? That's exactly the problem that got us here. Opinions are not facts.
Oml do you not fucking understand human beings. What on earth are you? If this is how you disect arguments then I really really wouldn't even wish to have a simple small conversation with you. How dare you accuse him of being unfactual, you are making it seem like what you say is true... opinions are not facts 😡😡😡. I'm mocking you if your humanoid brain can't comprehend that, seeming as though you can't comprehend basic social aspects
To analyze a human situation will always be an opinion BACKED with facts and science, which makes it close to the truth. The question is, how do we find THE TRUTH in this situation? It only lies within Elon musk mind. Only God knows what the actual fuck he was thinking behind that salute.
Thank you for your explanation, but in Italy he meets Meloni. In Germany, he speaks on X with Weidel, a far-right party leader of the AFD. He sympathises with these people and has already said many things that suggest he has right-wing ideas.
In the Netherlands he’s best friends with Wilders, and in the UK he advocates for the release of a few ultra right wing troublemakers. If he turns even the slightest bit more right, he’ll fall of the flat earth!
good observation of what has happened, and what it may very well signify - and that is "gesture," while it may not be a traditional Nazi salute, certainly comes close!
Why in all hell would he perform a gesture that could so easily be mistaken for a nazi salute if he consciously understands that Nazis are something that he does not want to be mistaken for or connected to? He’s not a baby, he’s a grown man who intentionally gave a nazi salute to an entire nation; twice! Which means that if there was any doubt in his mind that he had mistakenly given the wrong impression he could have done something different instead of giving “another nazi salute”! So what the hell are you talking about?
When u are pumped up and happy as u can clearly see he was, u do stuff u don't even realize it doing and besides that it wasn't even close to the Nazi salute
What is missing in his analysis is that he planned it : it was not spontaneous. The biting of his lips too is more like a "in your face", like big middle finger, and you hear him with a "arghh".
I agree, parts missing. I believe it was 'spontaneous not planned'. Elon is like a 'Free Spirit Boy in a Rich man's suit'. Yes, he's odd but he's a genius. Most are 'weird & different' comparing to the rest... I also agree with your comment, "in your face" 😂 I think this, exactly 💯 on point.
The facial expression really confirmed it for me. In the past he would do heart hands then push it out to the audience …I guess that’s too woke. Not to mention he flew to Germany to meet with the leader of the new extreme right building up there.
I think he clicked his heels together twice also. Come on people, the man is autistic and was highly excited. My grandson has high-functioning autism and when highly excited at his music concerts he raises his arm just like this. No excuse, just the truth. You people are insane and just searching all day long for "something" to blame Elon for. Get a life.
@ Stop it. Don't deflect- musk has repeatedly retweeted hateful Nazi stuff, your poor grandson is not doing that. Your response is not helpful to those on the spectrum, and is more along the lines of 'some of my best friends are ...insert marginalised group here_______.
Yes , he has been stealling or buying ideeas or just bullying people out of projects and ideeas, making them his own. This is a persone who pays people to play a video game for him so he can brag to the world that he is the best ... immagine what he did with his businesses.
Look at the people he's supported in Europe in particular. I think they're seeing how it goes to start saying the quiet part out loud. You don't need to look very deep to see who he sympathizes with.
As an autistic person, I recognised a certain type of rehearsed awkwardness to Elons salute. As if it was a very deliberate gesture that he had been mentally building up to and was paying a lot of consideration to how the action was performed.
@LisaFenton-h7f except he didn't.. as a jew with multiple family members who died in those ovens, I can tell you that's not the salute of nazi's.. thats maybe at best a Hollywood rendition to dramatize the salute. In reality if you actually did any form of research and watched old WW2 footage, you would see the real salute was just an arm extended while goose stepping. There was no from the chest out motion.
Telling of what? He concluded that Elon did not intend to do a nazi salute per se, and that it was probably just an extremely awkward move on his part. What's your point?
The fact that he didn't play five more seconds of the video also shows his bias.....Musk turns around to the audience behind him and does the same thing - throws out his "heart" and CLEARLY says, "My heart goes out to you" as a thank you. Do some research.
I did this arm move on the first corporate meeting with senior leadership team, and I said, my heart goes out to you! Now… please let me know if you have any job for me, I’m unemployed. For some reason.
He chose to do what he did BECAUSE, he knew everyone was watching him. He knew how it would look and how people would respond. He did it intentionally because he wanted everyone to react just as they have. He flamboyantly flirts with fascist iconography but doesn't want to take responsibility for it. Like Trump, he's all about maintaining the appearance of plausible deniability.
I've said from the moment I saw it that the "throwing out my heart" after the salute was just there to add plausible deniability, and it appears to have worked.
So, let me think: 1. His Grand Parents were in the Nazi Party in Canada. 2. His family supported the Apartheid in South Africa. 3. He openly backs the AFD in Germany, Reform in the UK and La Pen in France. 4. He’s extremely bright. 5. He knew that billions of people would watch this. He definitely covered himself before and after doing this, but here is my analysis in the context of the above facts. The entire appearance was about the salute. He knew it would gain traction with white supremacists and he had to build up to it in a way that left room for ambiguity. His jolted, ASD-style movements paved the way. The final piece of the jigsaw was the comment immediately afterwards. Critically, you can see a moment of ‘here goes’ or ‘should I really I really risk this?’ just before doing it, which followed the giggle at the crowd’s cheer (delaying and drawing breath before jumping into it). The second salute was very much being caught in the moment and - although planned - had that feeling of relief because he’d made the first leap.
My biggest question is: Why is Elon Musk giving a post-inaugaration speech in the first place? Did I miss something? I thought Trump was elected as POTUS.
Yeah trump the reality tv steaks guy. If you hadn't noticed, Trump brought the clown show in a few cycles ago. Nothings sacred anymore, the GOP doesn't care about decorum...
Elon musk is an embarrassment! He's behaving as though he is President. I predict Trump will get sick of this idiot stealing all the glory and will eventually remove himself from Elon. Like you say, why is he even there!!! Presumably because Trumps wants his financial backing!
He explained what it was, on video. If he apologized the same sociopaths who invented the “Nazi salute” narrative would just start saying he “had to apologize for his Nazi salute.” Apologies are for when you do something wrong.
you literally got told by a licensed psychologist that it’s unlikely he did a salute. in *plain english*. yet you’re still this convinced otherwise…. your ignorance physically pains me…
It is ludicrous to override specific meanings of gestures with body language analysis. You don't reinterpret the middle finger based on body language analysis. Certain gestures have specific meanings. It may be news for US audiences who seem to think the world doesn't exist outside the US but the fact is Musk has been loudly supporting neo-Nazi figures and political parties in Europe, so Musk made this gesture in full knowledge that he is in the eye of the storm in Europe about fascist sympathies. Nobody in Musk's current position isn't fully cognisant of what that gesture means and how it will be interpreted. He may not in his heart fully support it, or even understand it, but there is no way anyone currently subject of accusation of fascist sympathies makes this gesture in ignorance or by mistake. It has not gone unnoticed in Europe that's for sure. We currently have a US president threatening military action against a NATO member and the President's high profile appointee interfering in European elections on behalf of fascists, seeking to undermine European elected leaders and throwing up Nazi salutes. I suggest Americans wake up and smell the coffee and fast, because this is doing PERMANENT damage.
@ Oh I'm sorry, you think the fact that Americans are spectacularly insular and ill-informed is an insult and not a reflection of reality? You think I should respond to threats and attempts to subvert my political system with patience and understanding? We tried that last time Americans put a cretin in the White House. We all gave you a Mulligan on that. It didn't work. Frankly I couldn't care less whether Americans are insulted by the truth any more, how polite would you be if European Oligarchs were using their social media empires to promote the KKK?
He introduces the whole riff with references to “victory.” The Nazi salute in question is associated with the phrase “Sieg Heil” which means “hail victory.” He’s not a Nazi. He’s a white supremacy imperialist. He’s signaling a “fourth reich” of his own imagining, not Naziism per se, but one in which his vision of humanity’s future is now empowered.
I am fascinated by your delusional state of mind. Too much screen time has seriously destroyed people’s ability to not see their own narrative in everything. It’s going to be a dark future for everyone but advertisers.
You are the only one who had a logic response. BUT. It's a response from someone who I assume is neurotypical. Elon is on the autism spectrum. So you can call it idiotic but there is a bit more to it. He doesn't have full control over his body in the same way you do. So he can think one thing and preform something entirely different. I have done this many times and it hurts my soul every time. Either way you are right to have 2 perspectives on this. Most people are just arguing that it was intentional and everyone who disagrees is ret*rded. Sheep behavior imo.
@@lolilollolilol7773 ADF advocates for free speech, so does Elon. That doesn't mean he believes everything the ADF stand for. That's kind of how I feel about RFKjr. Id stand by him and support him as he takes on the FDA but I do not support everything he says or does. I just want him to succeed in taking on the FDA. People also seem to think RFKjr is a Nazi as well. Which I realized is just a political tactic to take out your opposition. Just call everyone you dislike a Nazi and people wont want to be associated with them. It's such an overused tactic, but it works very well.
The expert says the history books say A. Everyone else says B. Everyone who believes in B is rejecting history because it doesn't fit their world view. Hooray, history is doomed to repeat itself because people are rejecting the past! Edit: that last sentence had heavily implied sarcasm.
I think it is all understandable you're saying. But for me it´s more the overall behavior of Musk and what he is NOT doing ... Elon Musk is celebrated for this salutes by his white supremacy fan base and he is not taking his chance to distance himself from any nazi stuff. This would have been the perfect moment to apologize and telling the people he does not support nazi ideology in any way. But the truth is - he is supporting the german nazi party AfD and he is spreading far right propaganda and he hands over his social media platform to nazis for spreading their hate and propaganda ...
@elisabethgeiger2129 That's what Nazis always try ... Doing Nazi stuff but claiming 'No Nazis here ... we are the good people - don't worry' ... Elon is spreading Nazi ideology and AfD is spreading Nazi ideology using Nazi content and Nazi phrases ... So my opinion is: When it talks and acts like a Nazi ... it is a Nazi.
@@elisabethgeiger2129 One of the leaders of the far-right fascist Nazi-party AfD can officially be called a fascist by a court ruling ... And the AfD is an officially classified by the Constitutional Court as an extreme right-wing party (which means Nazi party in Germany). They do Nazi stuff - they literally use Nazi phrases for their propaganda of hate and disinformation and they propagate Nazi policies ... So yes - it looks like they are Nazis and someone is a bit misinformed and stuffed with propaganda - OMG 😮
I flinched when I saw the gesture. As a German, I am perhaps particularly sensitive to such gestures. It may be that the context tells a different story, but the gesture itself is frighteningly reminiscent of the Nazi salute.
It kind of reminds me of when an artist sues another artists because a verse or chorus sounds similar. This is dealing with associating idly movements, and a few basic ones at that. I get the associative movement, but Elon literally has no connection whatsoever and has not given any indication. I’ve considered the possibility he was trolling, or may be this was some billionaire dare, which also seems unlikely….though he does love to troll, there is still no indication he would support that. And if he did, he fully believe he would say so. The dude can troll for sure, and has pride in what he believes. I don’t think he would hide it in a gesture. He’s been around. He’s been relevant. He’s actively involved with society. He’s not a neo Nazi. Lol
You don't have to be German. Polish or even Jew to be disgusted at the blatant symbolic gesture signified. As Trump during the inauguration, it was a call to arms for the horrors to come.
I totally agree! I'm very afraid for our democracy and our country. The threats against people who simply disagree with Trump are terrifying and have no place in a democratic society. All of us should be able to state our opinion without fear of retribution, but that isn't what is happening in Washington.

If that wasn’t a Nazi salute then I don’t know what is. I’m disappointed and disgusted by Dr. G easily and naively explaining it away as just an awkward gesture.
Hilter was filmed doing the exact same salute with first putting his hand on his heart and then rapidly extending it upward. fElon Muck has given financial and propaganda support to the semi-fascist far right AFD party in Germany that has attempted to downplay the Holocast and antisemitism in Germany. Also, remember that fElon grew up in apartheid South Africa. So, yes fElon did that gesture as a natural show of exuberance, but exuberance for the soon to be fascist take over of America by the new dictator-in-chief donASS tRUMPter. Plus, he was very exuberant about the $200 billion increase in his personal wealth since the victory of donASS. He definitely was pumped up to show his appreciation to the dumb-ass MAGA supporters who fell for his lies and deceit and just voted against their own interests and help set in motion the now absolute control of oligarchs like him over their government and their lives. If I was a fascist like him, I would be exuberant too.
Yes, exactly. He hails the masses who voted for a takeover by the new american WASPs with the Mussolini face fascist salute and hails the new Fuhrer Troll andDumb afterwards. The road to hell opened up for a more possible WW3 than ever before since WW2
The nazis used the swastika as their symbol. By your reasoning all the tantric Buddhists and tantric Shavites, and Hindus who have swastikas on their temples and in their iconography are nazis. That is just brilliant if brilliant means not so bright.
How can anyone born in the last 100 years not catch themselves prior to that? I guess we can put that under the blanket “He has autism” excuse so he doesn’t know better. The man runs a huge company. He knows better.
@waffleoxboy are you wrong.. Nazis are ANTI-HUNANITY in general. Nazis targeted Jews first, they had a list. Just because he is giving money to Israel doesn’t mean jack. Incase you don’t know, there’s a word called “controlled opposition”. Where these big people fund wars to depopulate.
That would be incredibly unprofessional. The idea is to give an impartial, professional analysis. Now, if someone else wants to come along and utilize this data with added psychoanalysis, that'd be great. This dude stuck to his lane
Regardless of your analysis of the body language, he is educated enough to know how that hand gesture would be interpreted and most decent people with that knowledge would use a different gesture to “throw out “ their heart felt gratitude. I personally believe that Musk is not that impulsive that he couldn’t control his own body language in an important, televised speech. What I also believe is that Musk regularly goes out of his way to make symbolic gestures or make “in” jokes which leads me to believe that he plans ahead.
@@StephenJohnson-jb7xe exactly - that stupid custom-made “dark maga” baseball cap is a prime example of he knows what he’s doing - and everything is deliberate and not impulsive.
Being neurodivergent is not something he can “turn off” for the public. If anything as you can see, it makes him act even more awkwardly in excitable situations. Better question is why is the left gaslighting an Autistic???
I adore how American politicians talk in the name of the whole CIVILiZATION and not just about their own nation. This means that they are involved in each and every event, conflict and decision making worldwide.
Lol no they didn't dumbass. I literally just watched videos of them at the Olympics and not once when they saluted did anyone touch their heart first. Carry on dumbass
Sorry, Dr. G, I'm a big follower of yours, but actually living here in GERMANY, I have to inform you that it is officially being categorized as a Nazi salute here in the very country that is certainly qualified to determine that, AND in the country where it is a punishable offence to do so. And considering his family history I have to say that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well....
The biggest flaw with this analysis: No ownership and accountability. No apology or regret. If you won't even own up to looking like a Nazi in public and admit that that's bad, maybe the people calling you a Nazi have a point.
Man, you couldn’t have said it even any better. These people have evil intentions and they are flooding the RUclips space and a social media space just because he says he’s an expert means nothing I don’t believe him. He didn’t show any credentials any achievements nothing he just talking shit and taking up for this dude, but I took my head off to you bro. Keep keep on doing what you do
He literally owns a social media platform. All he’d have to do is pull out his phone and tweet that he denounces Nazis and their ideologies. Past and present. But he hasn’t. And it doesn’t take much critical thinking to understand why he won’t , much less a “body language expert” pseudo scientist. His grandparents were proud members of the Canadian Nazi party who moved to South Africa specifically to SUPPORT apartheid. His family amassed its wealth from the exploitation of African labor and resources under brutal conditions. Elon has openly endorsed the AfD, Germany’s far, far right party. He spent billions to buy twitter to reinstate ‘free speech’ including hate speech from leaders of neo-nazi, white supremacist and white nationalist entities. All this while claiming that the descendants of brutal colonizers and apartheid enjoyers are now victims of the white genocide happening in South Africa. Elon is a smart, keen man and surely rehearsed that dozens of times. I'm an open-minded person, but I don't believe for one second this was simply an exited, awkward motion. He was clever in making it look just enough like the salute to be recognized, yet try to wrap it up in 'my heart goes out to you'. Similar (but the reverse) to when someone tries to subtly flip someone off while messing with their own face.
The REASON people make hand gestures is so that they don’t have to vocalise what they are thinking (when you wave/blow kisses/thumbs up to someone, do you say ‘I wave/kiss/thumbs up to you’? NO). The fact that he DID vocalise the salute demonstrates how he intended to make the despicable salute but at the same time tried ‘toning it down’ by vocalising a different meaning, namely, ‘my heart goes out to you’
If you are hypothetically giving your heart, you have your palms facing upward and pointing at the people you are hypothetically presenting it to. On both occasions, his palms were pointing downward, indicating that he had nothing hypothetically in his hand to give. On the first occasion, his arm was at about 45 degrees to the horizontal, resulting in him pointing over their heads, not at the people to whom he was hypothetically presenting his heart to. On the second occasion he is pointing even higher over their heads. Nazis throughout the World have allegedly perceived it as a Nazi solute and have applauded it. What is very important is how others perceive it - and, as far as I am aware, neither Musk nor Trump have corrected them. Although this is not part of the above analysis, I recollect Trump showing sympathy for Nazis, when he claimed that there were good and bad on both sides of a clash with Nazis. On December 22, 1942, Congress forever eliminated the use of the Bellamy salute, when it passed a law stating that that the Pledge should “be rendered by standing with the right hand over the heart,” as it is today.

South Africa never had a 'Nazi Party'

Just the fact that all the nazis in America and abroad are identifying it as a nazi salute is the problem.
IT IS A NAZI SALUTE
That is their problem, not Elons problem

I would salute to Trump too. This is a big win and he's a hero that's still fighting the good fight. But no matter what, the point remains that it wasn't a Nazi salute. He did that naturally out of overwhelming feelings of cleaning out the immense corruption
Because he chose not to play into the rhetoric. Why volunteer to put yourself on the defensive for something you didn't do?
Add on that General that confirmed Trump is a fascist, meaning Elon could be very excited thinking this was the only election to rebirth the Nazi ideology into the mainstream conscious while talking in this video.

good observation of what has happened, and what it may very well signify - and that is "gesture," while it may not be a traditional Nazi salute, certainly comes close!

Strange that I didn't feel the love when he saluted with a look of hardness in his facial expression.

Not to mention it looks like he's done it before. Seems very natural. Especially after his attempted involvement in Europe.

It's the 'Schroedinger's Douchebag' gambit. Very familiar to those dealing with the alt right.

So, let me think:
His family did not support Apartheid.
Sure, but what’s one more lie to people who will just lie about anything?
Don’t you think if he was sending some heartfelt feelings that he would be smiling instead of a Mussolini grimace??
Do you hear yourself?

And that world he is in charge of will last a thousand years, right?
People like you are dangerous. We know what we saw.
And that world, allowed him to do a Nazi salute? Got it
Is that why Trump called his own administration a reich in this campaign ad?
ruclips.net/video/a8kr5NI36xY/видео.htmlfeature=shared
He did a full Sieg Heil gesture, there is no question. Look at the context of his political ideology and his standing among right-wing parties. He replied to several known Nazis on social media swell. He is a fascist that wants a different society, full of smart, rich and mostly white people in power.
West act like this over a gesture while doesn't mind teaming up and destroying middle east , no outrage in west over useless wars , only this, shameless people. Nobody in asia gave a damn about this thing
“ AWKWARD?!!!” Don’t p!ss in my Cornflakes then tell me it’s raining! Based upon dispassionate observation of Musk’s behaviour, statements, manipulation of X algorithms, endorsements and political affiliations, and his smug and ugly narcissism - let alone the aggressive facial expression and literal GRUNT when he performed his Naz! Salute TWICE - I don’t need anyone to sane wash, gaslight and deny the bald truth. I am left wondering about your own observational skills and basic common sense.
Study epistemology
Yes. Not awkward; it slipped out. The second one was just him trying to save it, then he again tries to save it with the ‘heart goes out’ comment. He knew he’d stuffed up. You can see how less animated he is right there in the moments after the first gesture. Dr G is too scared to say what we’re all thinking.
Let alone that he's got all of Germany in an uproar about it.
I think we can trust the Germans know what the salute looks like considering that they were all taught in school to NEVER, NEVER, EVER make that gesture.
You're wrong. He's wrong. We all saw it and we all know what it is. Nice try "Doctor"..I don't see too well by gaslight.
He’s not a professional , he’s just trying to cover for Trump and musk with his ridiculous claims about body language
@@joancooney7724 Yeah, I've seen one of his other videos where he analysed things like the way Trump sits and it was all glowing - Trump is sitting powerfully etc.
Yeah don’t use logic. Use your emotions. That’s makes sense.
no argument sadly prouving that you use you emotion and not fact and logic
You're brainwashed and pretty ignorant.
I don’t think it matters his intentions- I think what is important is how it is interpreted. Caution with power is soo very important. This will be interpreted by that group as an opening.
Enemies will interpret everything the wrong way and try to smear you.
@@robineggblue-bp3rq I think you have misunderstood what was meant - this is not about enemies interpreting the wrong way, it is about those who espouse a particular cause (in this case Nazis) using this as an opening. And they are. Nazi groups are are claiming the gesture. So as RusticWrapsody says, the intention is immaterial, it has given NeoNazis exactly what they want - validation.
According to the hierarchy of the cabinet positions, where is his position in the succession of power? I'm guessing it's ALL the way down there, if even. So why is he at the podium giving a speech?
He absolutely knew what he was doing.
You know darn well what his hand suggest was. Making an excuse for this B/S. . Just sad. The man is very awkward and you making a bunch of excuses for him.
Do that at your corporate job on Monday see how long you're an employee.
This reminds me of Tom Cruise jumping on the couch lol
Totally! 😂😮
A salute to supremacy. Period. Twist it how you want.
Looks exactly the same as Mussolini doing his fascist salute, which the Germans copied. Check some old pictures
Supremacy? Whites supremacy ? Male supremacy? Government Supremacy? What are you even talking about with your snarky judgement?
@userGardengirl30107 You read what you read. I said what I said. All of it. You're the judgmental one though. He asked for thoughts and that was mine. That comment wasn't snarky but this one is. Hold it. .
@@BeAsia3.14 I knew I’d get a comeback on that. You’re right, I should not have insulted you by saying it was a snarky comment and I apologize. You still didn’t make clear what the supremacy was referring to. You don’t have to offer any explanation of course, but I’d like to know.
@@userGardengirl30107 Seeing that Trump and the broligarchs as well as the verified card holding neo-fascists that Musk supports across the world are WHITE. I'd say this is just straight up fascism we have going on here. This isn't even a debate. These are just facts. Say otherwise and you are spreading propaganda and lies.
I've been religiously following and watching your stuff for a while. But this really bothered me. Someone who retweets neo-nazis, likes their comments, supports them. If they walk like a duck, quack like a duck, salute like a nazi, they are in fact a nazi. They are growing in power, this is a very disturbing message and we need to not be blind to it. I notice that most of your comment section is saying the same things, but please. Do not give any fuel or excuses to this sort of behavior. At bare minimum, even if it was an accident (it wasn't), you are giving him an out. Absolutely not. He has a PR team, he's supposedly a "genius", he knows. you've got to do better at calling this out with the platform you have, this is utterly and completely devastating to watch.
Completely agree..I'm so disappointed in Dr G.
yes id like him to re-evaluate using common sense
id get a helmet for life is this bothers you that much.
@@jeromycertain7698I feel sorry for you if that’s your only take away from this
Dr G is too scared to say what he really thinks - and that is very telling. Second gesture and the mini-speech about the heart nonsense were clearly saves after he realized he’d stuffed up with the first, ahem, ‘gesture’. Autism aside, he’d probably had too much grape juice before getting up there. I guess Trump needs him, so he can’t drop him.
I find it hard to believe you’re attempting to downplay this.
The fact that he bites his lip aggressively doesn`t quite fit the " I give my heart to you" rhetoric.
Exactly my thoughts. Add to that, he is standing behind the „Seal of the President of the United States“. Not very clever of Musk.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”
Yea, he wants people to know exactly how he feels, which is why he threw out the salute, then came back with the words to gaslight all of us.
whatsinmy AI fixes this. Truth Behind Elon Musk's Salute
You see, your Honor, the psychoacoustic analysis indicates that my client did not in fact say "heil hitIer" but indeed "hail hitIer"
😂semantics
I challenge you to do another video now that you have better information from comments and all of the historical context of his support of white supremacy related parties. You’ve got the facts to re-examine now. Thanks.
When people are trying to convey that their heart goes out, they reach out with their hands palms up and out, not down and pointed straight up.
Nazis don’t touch their heart.
People do it different ways.
His hand wasn’t pointed straight.
There is another video of him sending love to the crowd and he made a heart with his fingers on top of his heart and threw both arms out.
Please correct me, if I am wrong about this alleged claim..
@@davidbrown8763 Read the transcript of Trump's speech and you will see that you are wrong. On the second occasion, the ppl were right above him so he had to point that way.
It's the Bellamy salute. It pledges elegance to America. It is an American salute.
@@jacobbay3114
Well they certainly were not above him on the first occasion. How do you apologists explain that, to the best of my knowledge, neither Musk nor Trump have volunteered any alternative explanation?
@@woodlandbiker
True. However, because of the connection to Nazism, it was dropped by Congress. So it is forbidden in the United States, as it is in the rest of the Anti-Nazi Free World. Here is the result of my research, which you apologists should have done, before writing an apologia comment:
As Ellis wrote in his book, “the embarrassing resemblance between the ‘Heil Hitler’ salute and the salute that accompanied the Pledge of Allegiance,” stirred fears among many Americans that the Bellamy Salute could be used overseas for pro-fascist propaganda purposes.
On December 22, 1942, Congress forever eliminated the use of the Bellamy salute, when it passed a law stating that that the Pledge should “be rendered by standing with the right hand over the heart,” as it is today.
Nobody's commenting on the fact that the presenter is completely biased
@WallyMammoth315 This Body Language Analyzer is full of ish. I'm not sure of his purpose, trying to show Elon the RACIST in an innocent light. He knows full well he saw what every other rational person saw. This analyzer is a joke. I hope he hasn't quit his day job.

Lol. Appropriate reference.
What does this mean?
All he has to do is apologize. That clears up any questions.
I'm old enough to remember that he voted for Biden, kissed Xi's ass, and tried to make Ron Desantis trumps replacement.
Hes a puppet. Plays for whoever has the most money, power and influence
@@andrewj.karaffa7080 Considering he's the richest man in the world, this makes no sense at all
@johnramsey6604 you think rich people aren't influenced? He's rich, but so are alot of people. But some of those aren't associated with questionable beings. You can be rich and have morals and standards, or be rich and influenced by those in power. Why do you think politicians don't fuck with big pharma? Influence.
That tells you Biden didn’t deliver.
