- ** Hello 790hp!! 😳 That's just a ridiculous amount of Hp but I like it! 😂 ... The Ideal 10 has the exact same engine and hp as the Claas 8900 so let the challenges role.
** Agco put this combine on a boat this summer and shipped this "Pre-release" combine all the way across the world to allow us to play with it. That takes guts - because its huge risk to them if it doesn't work. (hence deere backed out) and it came at the perfect time as ours just burnt down.

Her father has 3 John Deere combines, a 9610, 9760 STS and a 9870 STS and some big 9 series 4 wheel drive tractors. 🚜😃

Mike the x9 in our are had to get a new engine at about the 80 hour mark! When you ask them why they backed out with your demo all they say is there are some things that we will never know.I wish you had flax i would like to see what it does with green flax straw.
I have to say Mike, Ideal certainly wants to see what the limiting factors in their machines are, full credit to both them and your good self.
once used to the joystick steer i think you never want back to a normal steering wheel. i have driven volvo loaders with joystick and i never would go back.

@@michaelgamp5848 Yup, or at least according to Fendt themselves. They found out that there was room to extend/enlarge the cleaning system, so they did. And put in a 790 HP motor for good measure ;)
But the cab, unloading system, and the entire body of the combine is the same size as an Ideal 9.
Im not sure if the clean grain elevator is enlarged though.

We like the plastic slat feeder chains. Spring steel covered in plastic, we’ve been running them for years now with no issues. No more bent bars and it’s easier on everything, they’re way lighter.

We demoed a 9 and cut tough green oats with it, actually did quite well.

Deere may have noticed how much mike enjoys green paint also and figured they’d be better off taking it to someone who wouldn’t trash it and tell the world his fire ball with two broke sheer bolts for the 5th time is better some how.
Deere could've caught wind that Mike was demoing another combine and thought why waste our time and they sent it elsewhere? Who knows since there's no transparency from Deere
I never claimed John Deere never has issues so sorry if I wasn’t clear. And mike is as fair as anyone else that doesn’t like Deere I’m not meaning to beat him up either. You guys watched the sprayer review. He reviewed all of them fairly except the green one that they happened to own and also happens to be the best one built. I also notice everyone complains about Deere’s price tag. Our farm has owned case new Holland and Deere in the last 10 years and I can say that the minor break downs we’ve experienced on our farm have reduced proportional to the price of the equipment. We tried a new holland in 2013 (8.390) and it had major accessory drive and hydraulic issues the whole three years we had it. We finally gave up trying the cheap stuff and start running green and have had far less everyday what a case owner would call “ maintenance”. Keep in mind where we farm we have a very good John Deere dealer network and and the exact opposite from cnh (red or blue whatever flavor of the same machine you prefer). Something else to consider, those of you who will never be convinced, is the brand that you grew up loving probably has changed names, colors or at the least ownership three times on any brand except John Deere so maybe they are charging what the equipment should cost since they aren’t getting sold off every 10 years or having to merge to stay in business. And as far as transparency I’m not sure why you think you that matters. You come on my farm and start asking about my bank account info and you’re gonna leave with a bs story so that one doesn’t fly with me either. Not saying any of this to step on anyone’s toes so don’t take it that way. It’s just my opinion as a dumb farmer that’s seen a thing or two. I probably should keep my thoughts to myself like I do everywhere except RUclips. 🤔

Deere makes great stuff! I am Deere customer and actually have been all green for years - up to last year.. They spare no cost typically, which they most definitely pass on to the consumers Hahah but in saying that, and in our experience, we have had the least amount breakdowns running Deere.
Everyone always says to me, "Mike, you obviously hate Case, look at those sprayer reviews" or "Mike, you obviously have a thorn up your backside for Fendt, look at the 1050 review" or "Mike, you obviously don't like green, because you hate on that RX620"
So everyone always says... 😂 🤷♂️
Every single manufacturer has its cons and it's pros.. And I love all equipment regardless of colour.
The reason I didn't do a Deere sprayer review is because I wasnt allowed to.. My brother owns it, and he bleeds green. Didn't want to hear anything negative about it... But yet, the spraying portfolio is mine, and when my brother came to me for my opinion of what sprayer to buy, I recommended the 4060..🤷♂️
So I love them all! And I treat them all the same 🙂

Great to hear you finally get to try out the Fendt 10T....
you're 100% right on saying there are only 2 competitors for the throne of best and biggest harverters. And that is Fendt and CLASS, We're running the first of our CLASS 9800's just delivered this week currently finishing of the last of our soy beans which is yielding an average of just under 5 ton per hectare...
The difference in our old JD S790's that we traded in and the CLASS 9800 is unbelievable. Get this!!!Usually we shut down around 11:00 pm due to the crop becoming too moist and hard to thresh, we're finding we can continue with the CLASS up until at least 1:00 am before we have to shut down. And get this it's not that the threshing that is hard, it's primarily due to the increase in moisture affecting the grain quality.
Looking forward to the next video out in the field with the IDEAL 10T..

You need to add a Go Pro with a heavy duty magnetic base to “Your Investigation Team” and mount the camera inside the combine to help figure out why you are plugging 🎥📷📹

First thing i noticed on the 10 when coming off the trailer was the hydro rear wheel assist, they were scuffing while turning due to being driven

It's a Fendt, it should have adaptive sensitivity for steering joystick. Go fast - low sensitivity, go slow - high sensitivity.

The Claas Lexion 8900 runs 70 tons / hour. Fendt Ideal 9 85 tonnes / hour. John Deere X9 1100 100 tons / hour. I believe in those statements.

Hey Mike, have you tried putting some go-pro's in the back to record the outflow of the rotors... on review of the footage you may find the reason for plugging in chickpeas. My feeling is the material is clinging to the fingers rather than being thrown off. - lots of holes and angles on those finger brackets IMO for stuff to cling to.

I'll bet there's a joystick sensitivity setting somewhere where you can back that off, you should be able to grip the joystick, if not, thats a huge problem.
If I remember correctly the 9T was 22.800 kg and the 9 with duals was 20.400 kg.
