One of my favorite items from the Dollar Tree is the Essentials mop and broom holder. It has two grey rubber grippers for the small broom and manure fork I have in my trailer, and a small hook for whatever. It can be put up with adhesive back or use screws. My clean up tools in the trailer are smaller and lighter weight than the usual barn tools, so this works great in my trailer!! The adhesive has held well, so no putting unwanted holes in my horse trailer!

Yes ma’am! I get a lot of stuff for my horses from the Dollar Tree !! You have to learn to cut corners while still doing the best for your animals. Once horse is put on an item, it goes sky high !! I have a ton of those towels to use for grooming and tack cleaning!! I have that same toilet brush hanging by the water troughs outside. Tip, put baby wipes in your cooler for those hot show days, they feel amazing to wipe your face when you get hot. They are also used for wiping around eyes and noses before a class. I also take one of those huge erasers to rub on rough out and a fingernail brush for rough out, works amazing on saddles I clean for people. Thanks for all the tips!!

I love getting things for my horses at the dollar tree but I don’t use their sunscreen, soap, wipes, ect just because most the time it’s cheaply made(I do use baby shampoo for my guys though) but I love their storage things the best!

Would you consider making a video about how well your paint held up when you painted your trailer awhile back?

Great ideas! You are correct, everything is costing so much. The last time I watched you, you had 2 horses. Do you still have two?

Sadly- as of this evening-I don’t have any 😔
I had put my boy Frisby down right before Christmas. And tonight when I can home- my boy Plezant had died. I have no idea of what happened. We had a wonderful day yesterday- some of the clips in this video were filmed yesterday. I am completely in shock- I have no words - and I have no idea of what happened.
Just devastated. That’s the only word that describes how I’m feeling at this moment. ☹️

What tips do you have for breaking a gelding quarter horse?

I hope the statement with the barn cat was a joke. It's awful not to feed barn cats and let them to their own device. A halfway decent managed barn has not enough rodents to feed a cat and would force the cat to find new food sources what can be dangerous to the cat (cars, predators) and to wildlife like birds.

Please feed and worm the barn cats. I enjoy your channel and was glad to see BE back!

Helpful tips but please don’t advise people to not provide for their animals. I’m sorry, but the most basic thing you should provide in exchange for the “job” a barn cat does for you in keeping your barn clear of pests is providing PROPER care, that includes vetting and basic nutrition. I’m not against barn cats, we work with numerous rescues who have barn cat programs and have barn kitties ourselves. But this is a cold hearted, out dated thought. All animals deserve basic care. Don’t have the animal if you’re not willing to care for it.
