Jefferson Lab isn't a school. We're a Department of Energy basic physics research facility. Quadra Productions would have come here that night to be in the audience.
Yes. When it was first discovered, it wasn't know if this was the Higgs Boson predicted by the Standard Model or if it was a HB consistent with another theory. This was because they didn't have a conclusive measure of the particle's spin. However, they have determined that, yes, what was found is consistent with the SM's HB. This comes up later in the talk, during the Q&A session. The question starts around 50:30.
I will be paying a visit to the HLC in Geneva in the near future.I'm very eager and excited to see things up close.I've been brushing up on extending my understanding of Particle Physics, etc to be able to appreciate it even more when seeing it (once it's up and running).
Why are you guys so concerned about the font? Who cares, seriously get a life. Don't you see the bigger picture here ? Most people don't even notice it because it is not important.
Comic sans... Even our smartest still have design skill flaws. :) I'd love to re-do their powerpoints for them, I don't know anything about particle physics but I could make the powerpoints prettier. But, it still is beautiful what they are doing, I'm just glad I'm alive to read about it, and be amazed, regardless of what font. The world (well, the thinking world), admires your work immensely, and as a woman she is my hero, and her accent makes her even sexier!

She covers it a bit, but I'm not sure if you'll feel it's covered fully enough to completely answer your question.
is this at you school!? awesome
Apparently Comic Sans is the best font... Although hated, it is the most easily read.
Most easily read? Times New Roman is SOO much easier to read, this font hurts my head. Maybe it's because I actually read?

sorry about my grammar, i though i remembered seeing a video at a school thats why i asked
