I liked and subbed. You're doing very nice work. You are smart not to take on other jobs. Very hard to make money like that because you have to charge so much that even rich people don't like to pay the price. I've done maybe 30 campers for other people and am not accepting any more work. The fun goes away. Oh and deadlines suck limes. Thanks for mentioning my channel.
Thank you so much! I've been a subscriber to your channel through my personal account since like, 2017 maybe? It is I think shocking to most people how much time and effort goes into even a tiny camper rebuild. I'm always flattered that people would trust me to work on their projects, but I just don't see a way to charge for it that makes sense. I mean, the first camper I rebuilt was because I couldn't afford to buy a nice one myself!
@@TrailerTrashtoTreasure That was my exact reason back in the 70s. When I got out of the service I needed a trailer to stay in while I built my barn so I bought an older used one and fixed it up. Who woulda thunk where I would be with trailers now.
Thanks for subscribing! I've watched Rob's channel too, and he's relatively down the road from me, so I've thought about dropping by sometime when I'm down in Oklahoma. Anyway, new video coming soon!
Hey y'all, we are Shion and Matthew and just came across your channel! We love your channel name! We also have learned a lot from RUclips University, LOL! We love seeing vintage camper renovations! ~ Shion and Matthew
Thanks for watching! Katherine actually came up with the name, but I sort of wondered about the "Trailer Trash" part, but she assured me it was okay since she did in fact grow up in a trailer, lol!
I do have a couple of questions but more in regards to photo booths. I’m new getting new into the photo booth business and I have a DNP -RX1 . Do you recommend a different printer for a better quality prints? Also what would you would recommend to build a wed site with and what Photo booth software do you prefer? I’m currently using DSLR photo booth but it seems outdated to me. Thanks for the help.
The RX1 is popular for photo booths because of how much media it holds, and the print quality is fine. The DS620 is also popular but I understand there's a shortage of the media right now. Squarespace and wix both make it pretty easy to build a website. DSLR booth has always been what we use, but I hear a l lot of people like Darkroom and Breeze booth.
I really like your videos because you get straight to the point and you’re a thorough in explaining things. Larry at Mobile tech great but some times it takes forever to get the answers you need. Lol
Sometimes it takes me several takes to get straight to the point, lol! Mobiletec is dense for sure though, but I think that's why everyone turns to him.
Well, I don't personally like OSB, but in many ways it's superior to plywood. They make new RVs almost entirely out of it. In vintage campers I would think you could use it for flooring, but typically in a framed camper you'll have wall paneling that's made with either 1/8" or 1/4" sheets so you don't really have an OSB option there. You might be okay using it for the walls in something like a Scotty that normally has plywood walls, but I'd think you'd want to paint any cut edges to reduce the potential for swelling from moisture.

Quite the journey for sure!
Good idea for a ground to every outlet. There’s always a bad ground problem that drives you nuts. Thanks! Have a good time off.
Well you know it really doesn't take long to run an extra wire and it just eliminates a very common problem. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all the info. I also enjoy Larry’s channel. Moble tech is very informative. You more entertaining. Love to see little Sam helping you out.
You're welcome, and thanks!
Is it mobile tech or moble tech? I can’t seem to find his channel?
It's Mobile Tec without the h: ruclips.net/user/mobiltec
New subscriber here. Rob the Rebuilder remodels old campers and is very good as well;

What’s your honest opinion on using OSB for floors and walls vs. plywood 😬

What’s the power converter box???
A power converter box converts your 120v shore power into 12v power for your RV systems that require it like your lights, vent fan, etc.
@@TrailerTrashtoTreasure did you make a video on just wiring ? currenlty getting to that stage on my trailer!!
Hey Lake, sorry I missed your comment until now, but Larry at Mobiltec has a great 3 part series on trailer wiring.
Jalouise window: pronounced: JAL-es-see window. LOL
Yeah I know. Somewhere I heard it wrong and every time I say it it just comes out that way. You should hear how we say Arkansas around here!
@@TrailerTrashtoTreasure LOL

Well, we went on vacation for a week, then we needed a week for recuperation, lol. New video up now!
