The very last thing Simon says as he walks out the studio is a great "motto" for the show & life in general, "If you give it, You take it.".. Meaning everything in the end is a joke, So lighten up... More guests should follow those words👏
@@kevindube7096 i agree, as i got older I realized I dont necessarily like to 'take it' and had a moment where I realized I'm a shit talker and I need to cool it on what I say especially to people who arent my best friends, sometimes things can be taken the wrong way or taken too serious, so it's better to just not say anything.
@@nobodysus8294 seriously bro you listen to these people.. I mean you buy their records n listen to them before sleep? Kelly Clarkson has one good song..
@@DanWilan if you actually think that Kelly Clarkson has only one good song, you are sadly mistaken. Some have won Grammys, an Oscar or have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. The show has produced some talents.
Yeah it’s a blurry video.......... TBR though she’s always been beautiful & talented, if she never got injured her performing career would’ve been one of the longest
^ definitely copyright which should be weird since it’s that guy’s song, but isn’t weird since he was just another one of the record label’s sweatshop workers
Paula should have been paid the most as a judge because she was the most well known. Simon and Randy have been behind the scenes in the music industry, so no one, at least initially, was tuning in for them
Great interview. Howard Stern made all 3 of them look kind of Dumb/bad in bringing out the lead singer from Saliva. hahah, simon's face at 10:04. Brilliant move on Howard's part. Yeah in 2003 Saliva was popular. I remember. Their music was used a lot on the WWE wrestling shows.
Eh not really. That rocker guy isnt hollywood hes just some unnamed artist on a soundtrack. They were looking for pop stars and all of the artists they produced had bigger careers than him.
@9:52 LOL I love the stupid looks on their faces when they found out Josey was a Grammy nominated singer and had an actual band. It just goes to show how damn flawed these shows like American Idol or The Voice are when so called 'judges' give their opinions. People watch them and that's fine but it's extremely flawed.
Paula Abdul is perfect. I had such a huge crush on her when her first album came out, and I was a hardcore punk/Metal dude; but I'd run into the room when Straight up or opposites attract came on. Never cared about that show or Simon Cowell and all that but I would have gave two thumbs down to that "Saliva" goofball too. That song sucked. It was basically the Nickelback take on Seal's "Kiss from a Rose." I'm not big on making a big deal about some borrowing in music but that was noteworthy blatant plagiarism on top of totally sucking. I can't understand why they weren't sued.
When she married Emilio Estevez and they didn’t work out because he was such an ass I was so sorry for her because I always thought that she was very beautiful.
Keeping untalented “singers” on a show is good for ratings, keeping _decently_ talented singers on is boring, and keeping undeniably talented singers on is good for the show. That’s just what it is 🤷🏽♂️
@@kevindube7096 he's starting to pick ppl that he feels sorry for bc audience boos n he's going with audience instead of seeing if they actually do have talent!!

Howard said later that Simon was actually pretty pissed off they tricked him with that Spiderman singer. So classic, haha.
But isnt that from nickelback?
@@bluekermit666 yes
Explain?
@@bluekermit666 I believe it was Nickelback with this guy as a featured artist on the song.
Damages the judges credibility. Makes Sense.
What talent did these talent shows deliver.. all these years n I can't think of one
Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Jordan Sparks, Carrie Underwood, David Cook and many more
