- Hi friends, we had a lot going on today, and I thought you might enjoy coming along with me. We dewormed our cows, which doesn't sound fun but is necessary sometimes. I also made a new-to-me recipe and completely bombed it, but it still tasted good. I hope you enjoy!
The cameras are from Cabelas Canada

I live by myself and I just eat whenever I'm hungry. It's 9pm when I'm watching this and I'm eating dinner now haha! Growing up we ate around 7, my mom was a single mom and she worked outside the home, and even she got home it was usually around 6, so it wasn't until 7 that dinner would be ready. In my previous house one of my roommates didn't get home until around 8, so that's when I aimed to have dinner. I'm in Washington state, near Olympia.
❤️from Ontario!
Hello Chelsea. I live in Penrith, Australia. We usually have dinner around 7pm in summer. In winter we eat around 6pm. I love all your videos. Thank you so much for sharing, Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Here in North Dakota we call dinner supper and we farm so “supper” is around 6:00 in the winter, but during the summer moths it’s when the sun goes down! Lunch is around 12:00.
I’m Romanian but living in Uk for 8 yrs now 🙂 I have dinner around 6 pm as I wake up for work before 4 am 🙂
@LittleMountainRanch. Dinner has alway been (and I've tried to keep it) at 18:00; unless I worked late (used to be a registered nurse, and we worked shifts from 07:00 - 19:00). However, we now aim to have supper at least by 18:00 and at the latest be done around 18:30 - 18:45. Eating later makes us feel uncomfortable, as digestion seems to be sluggish.
I love your channel and your family. Thank you for being a very natural teacher, and authentic from what I observe in your lifestyle.
God bless you and yours from South Africa.
We live in Northern Indiana and we eat between 5 and 6 during winter months. Summer can be later than that but not by much. We are early to rise and early to bed. Love your channel
Hi I'm watching from Gold River Vancouver Island.
I'm watching you from the Netherlands in Europe. With us it is fairly common to eat between 5 and 6,30 in the evening. also here in this part of europe, especially by older people, dinner and lunch are sometimes reversed. dinner at 12 noon and lunch between 5 and 6. With us lunch usually consists of a bread meal without hot dishes. this is an old habit, especially among farmers, who start very early in the morning and have to do a lot of physical work. I like to see how you and your family live on the farm. I especially enjoy getting an insight into how other people, from other parts of the world, live.
Hi, that puff looks and sounds so good. I love the flavor of almonds too. I live near you and we grew up eating between 5 and 6 as well. Dad used to get home at 1/4 after 5 so that was when we ate. Another fun video, thank you. ❄️🇨🇦❄️
I am in Pennsylvania and have dinner about 6 (when I get home from work). Hope all is good and I enjoy your channel very much.
We live in Wales,UK and we generally eat dinner between 6 and 7 but, as a retired couple, our day probably starts a lot later than yours!😊

I am watching you from Trinidad,West-Indies. And my family and I have dinner at 6:30pm. I love watching your videos.
We usually have dinner around 9 or 9:30 pm. This is in Barcelona, Catalunya (Spain). When my kids were younger we tried to have dinner at 8pm. Now that they are 15, 17 and 19 everything runs a bit late.
Lunch is between 2 and 3pm. They have an early start at school and university (8am) so breakfast goes around 6:45-7am. They have a sandwich during school break at 11.
Thank you for sharing. 🌻
I am watching from Austria, Europe. We normally eat dinner at around 6:30 to 7:30pm. I love all your videos and just started my first sprouts!

I'm from Vancouver, BC and eat dinner at 4pm. This is my new norm because I like to fast for 16 hrs each day ... I finish dinner by 4:30 and eat breakfast around 8:30. 👍
From Wisconsin. Supper is generally between 5 and 6. What we've found is that there's a difference in time based more on family/chore/work hours. My husband grew up eating around 6:30 as did most of the family's he knew growing up in the city. I'm a farm kid and we ate between afternoon chores and before evening milking.
I'm in Michigan. Our dinner time during the week was 6:30. That when my dad got home from work.
I'm in NH, dinner growing up as a child it was on the table at 6:30. Now old and married 😂, dinner is between 4:30- 5:00 as husband is in bed by 7:00 to be up at 3:00 am.
In the summer dinner is a bit later just cause it's so nice to be outside.
Just think, when the chickens are producing lots of eggs, you'll be able to freeze dry some and never be out of eggs for a recipe again!
Sundays are family day so we eat supper around noon believe it or not!
I know this is lunch to most people, but we do a really hearty meal for Sunday supper. To us supper can be between 12 and 2 but dinner would be between 5 and 6. Originally from the north east ( New York/New Jersey) that's how we were raised as we spent a lot of time with my grandparents. They were both born in the early 1900s. 1902 & 1904 to be exact.
When our kids were young, dinner was usually between 4 & 6. It really depended on the time of year and the day of the week.
Greetings from Germany. Growing up, dinner time was always at 6, later with my kid between 5 and 6. Now it’s usually later, between 6 and 7:30, due to later working ours.
Hi we eat between 7.30/8.00pm I live in Spain and specially in the very hot hot weather its nice to cook and eat in the cooler timer in the evening from Kathy x😍
I’m watching from Everett, Washington. We raised our 5 kids to have dinner when my husband got home from work, as about 5:30 or 6:00. Now with our kids all grown, we eat early between 4:30 and 5:00.
BLT’s are my all time favorite sandwich. Yum!!
In Michigan here. I eat when I'm hungry. Sometimes as early as 4 or as late as eight. Doesn't bother anyone, as I'm on my own lol
Blessings ~
Your videos are delightful. Northern Illinois supper 6 30 at ourhpuse.
Thanks so much!
Blessings
I live in Boulder Colorado. Dinner was always 5:30 pm as a kid as that is when my father got home (rode the bus from work). I've just kept that time all these decades as it seemed "just right".
Hello from Rhode Island USA and we eat early around 5
Millersville, PA USA - we eat at 7:00. Reasoning is my husband I are nurses working 3-11 shift. When we are off our evening meal became 7:00 pm. The almond puff looks good.
We eat dinner around 6:45. It's just hubby and me. I used to work full time and have a horse and barn on our property. I'd come home prep dinner, clean the barn and feed the horse, have a shower and finish dinner. We used to eat a it later, but that's too late. When I was a kid, dinner was at 5:30 every night. When I had children at home it was 6 pm or we'd accommodate sports activities by being flexible.
Im in Nevada and grew up in California. Dinner is typically between 5:30 and 6:00.
Since I'm a household of one, I eat dinner whatever time I get hungry...😂
I live in Oklahoma and I try to have dinner ready by 5pm. We grew up with the same schedule.
I remember making those almond puffs back in the day! We're bad....we eat late--anywhere between 7 and 9--but I'm trying to reign us back in. Ontario, Canada
Southern Minnesota farm country here. We eat supper at 5:30. I think it was more like 6pm growing up. I need time for my food to digest so I can't eat and go right into dishes. I'll do dishes around 7pm. It takes me a couple hours relaxing to get tired enough for sleep so this schedule works the best.
I am from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the USA. My mom made that exact same recipe when I was growing up. We called it Danish puff pastry. I haven’t made it in years; probably will in a couple days as now I am craving it. Lol
Yes 5 or 6 o'clock we eat supper we grew up eating around 5
I'm watching from Hillsboro Oregon, near Portland. We eat between 6-7 in the winter. 7-8 in the summer.
We live in Saskatchewan. We have dinner around 5/6 p.m. as well. My kids usually come home from school hungry, and I’m hungry. So an early-ish supper works best for us. ☺️
Texas here.. we eat dinner anytime from 5:30 to 6:30
When you have lots of eggs in the spring/summer, you should freeze dry eggs for when you run out. it works great!
I grew up (east coast of Canada) having supper at 5:00. As an adult with kids (now in Ontario) we had dinner around 6:00. Since teens & Covid times, we're lucky if we eat before 7:30-8:00. lol
Watching from Concord, California and we eat dinner at 5:00-5:30
I'm watching from Pennsylvania. We generally eat around 5-6. Depends when we get all the chores done and what else we need to do. Winter we eat alot earlier. Summer is sometimes later.
I'm in Australia. Growing up dinner was 7pm. When my kids were little we ate at 5pm, now they are teens it 6pm. Sometimes later in Summer, sometimes a bit earlier in Winter.
Now that you have your freeze dryer you can freeze dry eggs. We have a medium size dryer and 18 eggs will fit on one tray. You just scramble them up real good and spread on your trays, freeze first and then transfer to freeze dryer. Use them in all your baking needs or make scrambled eggs.
From Illinois. We eat supper typically from 5-6 pm. Others in the area 6-7.
We live in Arkansas, USA and eat dinner around 6:00pm because that’s when my husband gets home from work. 🙂
My goodness. There's snow on your everything!!! We don't hardly get snow where we live! It's so pretty but I don't want some. Lol
Hello from Oregon, it's very cold and snow. My husband said thanks for the Micro Dwarf Tomatoes. So how are yours doing? We also are doing salad toppings that grow in a jar at the sink. Fun and yum. Your a beautiful person with a gift to many thank you.
I’m in Saskatchewan and we’ve always eaten supper between 5-6 pm
Growing up in the UK we always had dinner at 6pm. My Dad came home at 5.30pm so it gave him time to change and wash up for dinner. When I became an adult and moved out, my husband and I started eating more towards 7pm because of work. We moved to Canada in 2007 until 2014, it was so hot during the summer that no-one wanted to eat until 9pm! Moving back to the UK, we still don't eat until 7.30-8pm nowadays. We don't have small kids so it's probably a lot easier to do that.
Tennessee and we eat at between 5 & 6.. oh I love ur channel 😊
I am in NC raised in England always 5 to 6 . When I visited my Son in Switzerland it was later around 7.30 to 8
I’m watching you from what is called as the Ozarks of Missouri.
We eat supper between 5:30-6:30pm
Middle Tennessee 💖 when my children were home l would give them a snack when they got home from school. But we ate supper when my husband came home from work about 5 to 5:30 pm. But now the children are grown and my husband passed away, l work nights usually eat something little when I get home from work. Usually I don't get hungry till about 2 am. Sounds crazy but that's life.🥰🥰
I'm watching from the Arkansas/Oklahoma border (USA)
We have always eaten close between 5-6. We live in Illinois near St. Louis, MO.
We eat around 5 pm in Central MO which was carried over from my childhood when the family sat around the dinner table talking about their individual day without a TV, phones, etc distracting the family connectiveness.
I'm from Arkansas and I like to eat by 5:30 (on Friday) as we have guest then, but any other time we like to eat by no later than seven. We are very busy... working on our property and don't stop till after dark...love make ahead meals!
I live in Pennsylvania, US. My husband gets home from work a little after 4:00, but my son has running practice year round(cross country, winter running club & track/field) doesn’t get home until around 5:30, so that’s the timeframe we’re into for supper is any time from 5:30-6:30.
A loud house sounds wonderful, we are empty nesters so the only noise we have is the dog barking :) We are in N. Illinois. We eat between 5 - 5:30.
Hello from Ohio. We usually eat between 4:30-5:30pm. BLT sound so good. Can't wait for homegrown tomatoes.
I live in Oklahoma. We tend to eat dinner around 6. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later but as I work a traditional work day (8-5) 6 or 6:30 is the target.
East Tennessee and dinner is usually between 5 and 5:30. I'm raising 3 grandchildren and 2 have an 8pm bedtime. Not to mention homework, play time, and baths.
I’m in NW England, UK. We always eat at 6pm but when our children were young we used to eat around 5pm. Our young grandchildren eat even earlier when they are with us, around 4-4.30pm. Although most of the UK would probably call this dinner we always call it tea. Dinner for us is at lunchtime.
