    Thanks to people like you, we are able to learn more about our own culture. I always knew we are rich in culture and one of a kind country “COMO Mexico no hay dos” however, to see it , makes me feel proud of my country. I live in-the states now but my children and I will never forget their roots. 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

    That place is really great and a must visit in Cozumel. It was really beautiful and amazing experiencing Mayan culture there and throughout Quintana Roo.

    Hi Energi, I found your channel today, I love your vlogs. My soul has always craved travel, learning about all the beautiful people and cultures in the world. Tasting new foods, good energy and simplicity. My daughter learned about the Mayan culture whilst home schooling due to covid, we both really enjoyed learning all about it together it was a stand out moment of home school for us. Hope to be blessed with this Mayan experience one day :)

    I'm a descent of Mayan people and they were so advance like the calendar was created by them .numeric system .irrigation and many things that my people are not talked about or recognized for that brought so much to even todays.we are one with nature and universe

    Thank you for you kind words in reference to my ancestors....I was born in Guatemala and 60% of the population is of Mayan descent. Just to have a better understanding Mayan civilization had highly educated society including scientists, agriculturalists, artists and teachers which were erased and destroyed by the invasion of the Europeans.

    The reason the food tasted "gritty," as you put it, was because you were eating some of the stone it was ground on. Ancient civilizations that used that method of grinding grains had an issue with tooth wear caused by bits of grit from the stones getting in the food.

    From chicozapote bark you get Chicle which Is literally bubble gum, also the balls are made of pure rubber, all rubber used to come from this area when tires first became a thing, 👍🏽✌🏽

    Ive always wanted to travel the world, I’ve been to a few islands growing up. I have just moved to London at 18. It’s so much different from my home(nyc) but I love it. Would you ever live in your Europe or do you prefer hotter countries?

      That’s cool you moved at a young age. How are you like it? & who knows tbh but I’ve only been to Spain so don’t know enough about Europe to decide. Buuutt I don’t like cold weather 😅 & I tolerate hot weather lol but I am waiting to live in Asia lol specifically taiwan when it opens ☺️
