How have I not come across this channel before?! Follow and let the binge watching progress 😂 I'm definitely going to be trying air fried spring rolls this weekend!
For the rest of the daikon, you could cut it into small cubes - a medium dice - then do a quick pickle. I've gotten it with Korean fried chicken at restaurants as a classic accompaniment. It's cool and crisp and sweet, and really surprisingly nice. I don't know the recipe, but I'm betting it's a rice vinegar and sugar combo - I'm sure there are recipes online.
Cerys:" I wonder what brand these could be 😋", Gaz: "🤔hmm, I wonder🤔" You guys never fail to make me laugh out loud 🤣 The speciality supermarket looks the most fun for getting new and unexpected stuff! Fun video, keep them coming! 💚
With the rest of the daikon, which is actually a radish, you can slice them thinly, then roast them. They become chips, or crisps, as you call them. Greetings from NY!
Hmm, it may be location? There are a load of locations in city centre Manchester so maybe there is have more surplus here. Keep your eye out though as they may be available but sell out fast? Or join a too good to go facebook page and ask if anyone at your location has ever seen them. Thanks for watching!
Omg that’s so funny! 🤣 that makes complete sense, also with the new dynamic pricing thing on TGTG we might’ve been able to get it cheaper if we waited! Thanks for watching 🤩
Hey everyone grow 30 grams of china rose, alfalfa and fenugreek seeds 90 grams total, eat fresh living sprout sandwiches for day's, cost of sprouting seeds £1.50 plus bread. 👍
went in to lidi and just got a £1.50 box. you have to look what is the cost of the reduced items as that is the price you would pay that if buying the items in the shop. so yes you look at the total of the reduced price not the full price all items have a shorter fridge life. the m&S is far too expensive. same items in aldi lidi for same thing for half the price. its not worth it.
Yes I think that’s fair and a more sensible way to look at it. I just know with the app they base the ‘value’ on the items at full price, which is why we included it like that. But we totally agree with you 👍
We thought the food was good! Our score was mainly because of the price vs. the value of the bag… but maybe we’re just cheap 🤣 thank you for watching 🤩
@arjones0819 So what? Anyway , he ain't only 'my God' , he is everyone's God. I don't give a to$$ whether you believe in him or not . That's your choice . Nobody is forcing you . Christianity is NOT like that other so called religion, the one that can't take criticism ( you know exactly the one I mean ) in regards to the fact we Christians don't try to force or co erce people into being a Christian. Being Christian or not is entirely your choice and no Christian would ever co erce you or force you or anyone else to believe in God. . One more thing ...you atheists sure like to try to force your lack of belief on others though ,that's for sure ! The very thing you falsely accuse Christians of ! So get lost ! Hypocrites that you atheists are .
I'm pretty sure that the more adventurous and confident cooks out there... Would be more than happy in using the more unusual items found in the speciality bag shown here... However... The M&S bag still seemed a little expensive to me... Especially as those products were about to expire... The equivalent long dated fresh Aldi products... Where you could purchase the following fresh produce items... Similar to those found in the M&S bag. Eat & Go Egg & Cress Sandwich With Mayo 174g for £1.19... Inspired Cuisine Spaghetti Carbonara 400g for £2.49... Ashfields Southern Fried Chicken Mini Fillet Tenders 305g for £2.49... Crestwood Broccoli, Tomato & Cheese Quiche 400g for £1.99... And as Aldi don't have any Carrot Stick & Houmous Dip Snack Pots... I've included the following items as a substitute... Nature's Pick Fresh Carrot Batons 400g for £0.89... The Deli Houmous 200g for £0.99... Making a grand total of £10.04... When buying everything fresh from Aldi. When compared to those M&S products that were on their last day to be used... And were about to have all their use by dates expire on that same day... It would've cost you £9.57 at the discounted yellow sticker last day reduced price at M&S... When you could actually buy the equivalent fresh products from Aldi... And all for an extra £0.47... Buying the fresh full priced versions from M&S... Would cost you £18.10... More than £8.00 more expensive than buying those products from Aldi... But i'm sure that some people out there... Will still prefer to pay the extra money... For the seemingly higher quality M&S fresh produce items offered.
Ah thank you that’s a great breakdown of the bags! I think we agree with you that M&S seemed a little expensive for what we got. But like you say, everyone has different preferences! Thank you for watching 🙏
Those spring rolls looked good!! Cez and Gaz literally never miss.
Thank you!! they took about 2 hours to make 🤣

That means so much to us, thank you 🤍 Let us know how you get on if you try them!
You can put tomato puree and cheese, on that garlic flatbread. In the oven till cheese melts. Yumm!!😊

That’s such a good idea, we’ll definitely have to try that out!

How did you get M and S and Aldi? Neither of them are on my app despite being present in the town where i live

Not every location does it, if it’s not on your phone, your location doesn’t support it yet
Metro rolls 😂😂 Got to respect the hussle Aldi. Great video guys!
Haha they really dgaf! Thank you ❤️
You went to my work too 🤣, the main reason why it’s more expensive as it’s in a train station and prices are upped because of it🤣xx
Omg that’s so funny! 🤣 that makes complete sense, also with the new dynamic pricing thing on TGTG we might’ve been able to get it cheaper if we waited! Thanks for watching 🤩
You can freeze the cold meats, just take them out of the packaging and freeze in 2 or 3 slices ..
@@susanhill3147 ah thank you for the tip! We ended up freezing most of the items 😁
The M&S egg, tomato and salad cream sandwich is the best supermarket sandwich.
Big statement! It was very tasty to be fair 😋
Just found your channel 😊 I love it xx
Thank you so much!!
Pickled carrots and daikon radish for bahn mi.
But be warned, if you make it, put it in an air-tight container because it's going to smell!
Ooh we love banh mi! May have to give this ago 👌🏼
😮 M&S is just ridiculous. Over £3 for one egg sandwich. That’s crazy. To think how many sandwiches you could make for £5
I know right, crazy! 🤯

The white veg is mela in bengali
Don’t think these two understand the principle and concept of too good to go bags.
most people don’t lol, they are just interested in the idea of getting a deal.
How so?
Sliced meats can be frozen.
You can freeze the majority of the liddle food
Ah yes we did end up freezing most of it thankfully! thank you for watching 😁
No ragazzi quella non è Carbonara 🤣🤣🤣
Sell by dates are guidelines only. The M&S was well worth it IMO
We thought the food was good! Our score was mainly because of the price vs. the value of the bag… but maybe we’re just cheap 🤣 thank you for watching 🤩
did he just really say ham doesn't go off?
🤣
Daikon radish, grate it
Ah yes we could have grated it! We ended pulsing it in the food processor a few times and it came out perfect for spring roll filling 😋
Mooli radish
It was delicious 😋
@@CezandGaz I’ve nearly bought a few times to do radish kimchi. Asda I’ve seen it 💯🙌
@@uglenddalejones2 sounds lovely! We will have to try that 😁
