Bucharest goes crazy after Romania won their Euros group

- The streets of Bucharest got flooded with people celebrating until the early hours of the next day after Romania drew their final group game of Euros agains Slovakia. That was enough for them to top a group that also consisted of Belgium and Ukraine.
30 years after the famous Romanian team which reached the 1/4 finals of the World Cup in the US, this team is writing their own history.

after ...24 years of waiting a new victory! (vs Ukraine 3-0)... (last victory of Romania in a final tournament ,EURO or World Cup was at EURO 2000 , Romania - England 3-2) much more Romania won their group stage , totally unexpected from specialists... against all odds...in Last 16 Round ,on paper , Netherlands is favorite against Romania...but who knows.... everything is possible now
P.S. Romania was present also in EURO 2008 and EURO 2016 , but without victories

I remember the time of Hagi and Stoichkov, was such a great time for our countries. ❤ I remember I wished we played semifinals then, both Romania and Bulgaria, maybe play the little final, or was even dreaming why not to play the World Cup final between us Balkaners. Magical times, hope we can get them again!
It really was!! I was a very young and have a memory of people screaming and shouting a lot (joyously) and have been wondering what would it be like to see that again one day. Having a chance to be in Romania for this great success was certainly a special experience.
