We fell in love with Howick || Original farmer's market in a barn || Legendary waterfalls || KZN

We loved Howick so much we even discussed moving there. This quaint town is the complete opposite of Pietermaritzburg, a short drive away.
As children we spend a lot of family time at the Howick Falls so we loved our short visit but the gem was finding the Karkloof Farmer's Market. We are thinking about spending a weekend in the area soon.

I was born in howick, schooled n grew up, n got married in howick, the most beautiful town in natal, safe we don't have many crimes, u can still take walks, beautiful n breath taking midmar dam, the howick falls, karkloof falls, the meander with over 100 of coffee shops, hotels, chalets, beauty spas with a difference, lots of flea markets with natural organic products to choose from like soaps, perfumes, body butters, natural honey. Belgian chocolate, nougat, fudge is all made here in howick, business is blooming, ideal place to retire with so many retirement villages, like Amberglen n alot more, we have alot of seniors settling in my beautiful green town, where I would like to die peacefully.
