Then they would fill the smaller gift bags that were to be given for winning a game, and dad would check if the shop had finished the cake, and my mom and our house help would set about making food. Gift bags were done days before, and I got to choose what all my friends got! But the games were a surprise, and my mom and dad hosted it all together.. Damn I miss those days.. But not too much, bc last year(i turned16) my mom and my friends conspired behind my back, she sent me to get some stuff and when I came back, they surprised me. They had decorated my room with fairy lights, balloons, pics of me stuck to the fairy light, and those sweet 16 balloons! Must've been a herculean task, considering I only went for Like 30 mins
