C Hear us, merciful Lord God (P) Lord God, Almighty, you hear the sighs of the penitent, you comfort those whose hearts are sad, hear the prayer that we bring in our need and help us, so that all the evil that the devil, the world and we ourselves bring upon us may by the power of your Spirit come to nought, that we, saved from all evil, may always praise and glorify you in your Church, through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
