What about the first servo motor on top left hand side ?

Advice to me was to only remove the front one if you get rid of the original headers. I you simply remove the cat but retain the headers, as I did, leave the front servo in. I don't technically know why specifically other than to say that was the advice to me from the gurus I work with.

no mate, I dont, I just worked it out and had no problems at all

Did you have to retune after the cat delete. I already have the conic slip on and a ecu flash. Would I need another tune after adding the midpipe.

the reality is if we change something that improves flow of air into the motor and exhaust out of the motor, we probably should tune the engine to suit.

My servo started doing that normal servo motor sound but he dont stop untill i turn off the engine/key
I dont know if this is some lake of lub on servo (even know if is possible to lub servo)

@@jeffmetalhead85 haha, my bad, I read 'can you add a link to the tubes' thinking you want some other linkage welded on .. I'm not real smart :-). And yep, by the time you read this the link should be visible mate.

do you know what sort of sound level the conic exhaust with decat would be at a trackday static noise test?

I actually don't know what it would be dB wise mate. It is quite loud without the baffle in the muffler when you get up it but I've been riding around the street for a month or so like that, I have to admit I did put the baffle back in just to avoid problems with highway patrol. I can tell you it is definitely not as loud as the GP70R style of muffler which is ear splitting :-)

By the way, I will be running it without the baffle at track days and don't anticipate any problems.

Looking to decat my gen 2 xr1000. Butterfly valve isn't cable operated. Where can I get one of those centre pipes that do away with euro 5 stuff. Then do I need it remapped ? Will.
