Ah yes. Long over do. I did tell it on Talking Mopar episode 20. If you don’t already know Chris Albrecht has been loading up his older podcasts on RUclips. Check out Talking Mopars on RUclips. I think I saw episode 16 just got released. So should be soon.
Man that Duster is coming together nicely! What a legit Racecar! Glad you got yourself a Mopar Cat to keep you company in the shop and Judge you from a far Ha Ha, That's what Remy the Adventure kitty does! Dang, you got so many awesome projects going on! 2022 is going to be your year Jonny!
I hope so too Duddie. Congratulations on getting to 1k subs. I have a feeling it’s going to be a good year for all us rag tag RUclipsrs. At least I hope. And yes, my kitty is cool. For now she (or he) only gives me a hard time about dinner time. Other than that she’s happy go lucky and doesn’t judge (yet).
Good job on the firewall, I will have to check my rule book, but I am fairly certain the tech guys will frown upon a rear firewall made of wood of any thickness. Something to check on, I made mine from sheet steel and glued/riveted it in place.
Thanks Kevin. So close. Mike said I have to have a non flammable barrier between the trunk and cab so I’ll have to redo that, might sneak it in as if for now. And I have to close the speaker holes. Agh. Never ends.
@@JonnyMopar that is correct. Endless content 👍🏻 You could just screw the proper thickness aluminum to the back side of the X brace if you wanted to make the tech guys happy. I don’t think it even has to seal perfectly and you wouldn’t have to redo your nice looking work. Just a option
pretty cool job on the trunk divider thinking of making one out of metal with beads rolled in for my dart when I get to that point cool kitten hope he warms up to you and stays safe.... that old jig saw I'm guessing 50s to 60s tops I never throw away a tool a friend or family gives me even my 87 Ramcharger sports a rear view mirror from my father in laws 68 A100 van.
Thanks MoparNut. I hope so too, we’ve been feeding her and her mom. Yeah I’m thinking it’s about that era too. Goes to show how well made it it to last this long.
The Sassy Grass Green is one of my *Top 3* color choices for that car. It reminds me of the Kawasaki green color on some of the bikes back in the 70's.
For some reason , I was under the impression that the rear firewall needed to be made of metal. Incase there was a fire , so you would not get a burn thru situation.
I can’t tell what you have for rear suspension, my opinion put on caltracs springs and bars. I run a 8 inch wheel and 9 inch slick, no problems. And I vote repop tuff wheel!! Car is looking good!! I like it!!
Sears was the Amazon of its time and if they would have just went to the old way of doing their business like catalog sales/ internet they could have been a Giant once again kinda sad to me . The car is looking good 👍
You’re totally right Sean. Way back in the day you could buy a Sears house kit, guns and pretty much anything. If they continued the old Sears catalog and just moved that to online, yeah Amazon wouldn’t exist.
@@JonnyMopar lol , I was talking like a hoarder , I do still have the one wagon , I have learned to say no to any more projects . If I win the lotto big , you will get some help on those projects ! You are one of the few who deserve it !
Duster is getting there…Really looking forward to it hitting the track. Looks like a story time from Jonny Mopar on his High School Charger is needed!

Yeah, your the 3rd person to tell me that. I’m gonna have to redo it. Guess another rear firewall video is coming out in my future.
@@JonnyMopar That sucks man, but better to be safe, luckily you have a template now and that will make, making a new one much easier
@@ScottsSpeedShop True dat. That’s the bright side.
Loving the Duster dude. Also love the improvised use of the trash cans as saw horses. Keep up the good work!
Lol. Thanks Ken. You gotta do what you gotta do to get the job done.
OMG I would love the 70 cornet wagon at the end Jonny Mopar!!
She’s beautiful
Thanks brother. I dig it too. Not sure when I’ll get to that one. Probably several years from now.
Another step forward mate...so many cool cars in your yard too man...wow...that wagon with the blue wheels does it for me!! Very cool...
Thanks Aaron. I really dig that car too. I wish I could do this full time and work on them all.
Diggin the soundtrack Jonny! You are doing great on the duster progress! Thanks for the motivation brother

You’re right. Mike Coffey told me the same thing. Looks like I’m doing a part II.
Well now at least you have a pattern for making what you need.
@@franklong8573 Lol. This is true. I might have 5 patterns by the time I’m done.

I have Cal Trac rear leafs. I’ll go to Cal Trac bars eventually. A repop Tuff wheel is a good option.
Very cool!! Awesome sir!!
Thanks Iron Horse who I assume is William.
