Hey my name is Carl, or Dozer the farmer.
Thank you for watching my content; just message me on RUclips and I’ll try my best to answer. I am here to show you the day to day running of a Kiwi (New Zealand) dairy farm.
We milk 260 cows at peak and run 2 beef blocks that support the farm with silage and letting the young calves graze up at the run offs. Grandad runs one and Dad live on the other.
I started RUclips on the 4th of April 2022 with the idea to show everyone what life and the day to day running of a farm in NZ is like with the hope that people get a better understanding of where milk comes from and one of the families that love doing it.

Carl Mate , got your little helper Dallas today. Holly Molly your milk tank sure is full wow. Tessa and Dad hello. How is your mom doing ? Tell your Dad have a good Friday off enjoy it with mom out to eat? The irrigator it’s for liquid manure to be spread around the field? I have never seen an irrigator like that . Dallas is a great little helper.
It’s getting up there now. Just getting hit by some bad weather dropping us back now.
He enjoyed his weekend off and mum was happy to see him home for a sleep in.
Yep we spread with the irrigator on our paddocks. I do a bucket test once a month to check how much we are putting on. It’s a great way of doing it. We don’t have to have a slurry tanker to do it.
It was a great weekend with Brittany she liked it and was very happy.
Dad was definitely very very happy.
