Matt, thanks. I don't how I missed this one, or maybe it was too painful to watch Tx State lose to Tx. They only had one pitcher, #4 Mullins with the fire. But, if Tx State would have had scouted Tx pitchers and therefore developed a better hitting strategy, the outcome could've been different. Tx State defense is up there with Tx, but hitting requires more work.
Will watch next year.

Texas State: You can, and you should've beaten Tx A&M AND Tx. You have the heart and the confidence. Coach Ricci is moving you in the right direction,... but you need a better hitting coach.
Hitting is skill and confidence. Practice develops skill. But concentration on technique, that is seeing the ball; swinging where it is, not where it ain't - builds confidence. You're good. You can reach another level in defense, but you NEED the next level in hitting.

Son today woulda been the perfect day for Sophia to throw. Those white uniforms really hug you in all the right places. We can only imagine 🤤
