Thanks. This was kind of one where we suspected there was good cave up there. But getting to it took a lot of work. Nobody wants to do the work! Laying in a cold damp space for hours on end, day after day, week after week, is not people's idea of a good time. But then boom, it's done and we have a new cave!

It's short, but a pretty snug little squeeze. Not on video was my first time through there, Nate actually had to pull me through. I was jammed up and lost my pants.
Thanks for a new video on my nights of hardly sleeping and been watching your videos for a good month now. Watched most on caveman hikes and now on to this channel. I’d love to do this but nothing like this here in FL and I can travel to AL and GA but don’t have the time or money to start another hobby right now. For now your videos will do and by for the best on RUclips out of all the content creators. Next is actionadventuretwins even tho they do some stupid stuff sometimes. Be safe and thanks again for all the videos and no ads!

Oh, that's a beautiful cave! All those colours and everything looks so unique. I can understand why you're willing to squeeze into tiny holes if there's a chance to find something like that.
We like the squeezing, but we're always just looking for big caves. Honestly, we've uncovered more big caves in the last couple of years... It's unprecedented. No one in the world is doing this.
Hi. I just wanted to say thank you for your posts. I only recently found your channel (Caveman Nick - I think its called) and this one and after watching your posts over the last few days I just wanted to say how much I appericate your posts. I've tries caving in the U.K a long, long time ago. Funny enough it was watching a movie: Journey to the Centre of the Earth that got me off my backside and trying caving, I realise I wouldn't find dinosaurs but the movie just made me to want to explore what was right under our feet. I did it for a few years but then I had a close call by getting stuck and it took quite a while to get myself unstuck by then I had lost my nerve. Watching you and your sons has sparked a reinterest in doing it again but physically I would need to lose some weight before trying again. Anyway, enough rambling about me. May I ask what got you interested in caving? Once again many thanks from the U.K
This one short squeeze took months of... labor. Laying in the cold, dark, wet and windy conditions. Day after day, hiking and crawling to the same spot to work on the same hole with the same tools. And then one day boom, youre through.
Yeah we do sometimes and have several videos where we used colored filters. It's just more equipment to carry. Currently I concentrate moron locating and exploring caves. Mapping them as second. Video as third. Pictures if I feel like it. So it's not a priority. We have other people in the group that take nice pictures.
Is there a way to replicate tight squeeze to practice/understand your size limits before doing it in caves or do you just slowly do smaller and smaller attempts
Yeah, basically, you just work your way to smaller stuff. But most people do not work their way to do stuff quite like this. Fact, in our entire region, there's only about 3 of us that do this on a regular basis. Honestly, the best replication is just trying to take off wet clothes. Because what you're needing to replicate is the panic inducing. The desire to get out of a situation in a hurry. It's also about freezing in most of these caves so, I guess put your wet shirt in the freezer for a while. And then put it on and try to take it off. : D
@@EvenDarker ya you def have some of the wildest caving videos ive seen and i know you guys dont really promote and just do it for the love of caving but ive been sharing your stuff and the fact you take the time to answer people in comments just adds to how awesome you are 🙏 thanks for the content
We are a speleological organization. But we also try to keep it a secret. In the sense that the senior members of the NSS group will keep this somewhat quiet, so it's not overly publicized. But we've known it's been there and been working on it for months.
you guys are nuts or just eternally brave. Feeling kinda sick watching this, at the same time very proud anyone would attempt this. If you need to work on your claustrophobia, do this, lmao...
We consider ourselves big cave hunters only. But most obvious caves have previously been discovered so... We pushed through areas that others don't want to in order to discover possible large caves. Sometimes we go years with just crawling and nothing else. But the last couple of years we've started to really pop into some huge caves.

Thanks for doing all the hard and dangerous work so us armchair cavers could enjoy the beauty👍
The pinches you crawl through always get me. Keep it up!
The pics you snagged at the end are so good !!!

Incredible formations - formed in minutes and hours before being frozen forever in time.

what if I told you there are 1000% dry caves like this in Florida? I'm based in central FL and go caving every weekend!

Don't lose your nerve.
Nothing got us interested in caving. There's a cave, go in the cave. It never once crossed my mind why or why not.
So, freaking awesome and amazing
I cant imagine the work that goes into these crawls prior to making the actual video. There research and preparation must be extensive.

I feel ya in that pinch. It was a little rock on my chest that ruined me for months from sliding over it. Jacked my rib all the way up.
Yeah, this was a small one, but if you get one that rolls up and cracks your sternum... that do be hurtin.

Do you ever consider using bits of colored plastic when photographing cave formations? That kind of lighting can really make formations pop.

That was the most fascinating interior of a cave I have seen to date.
That's what we say. Most fun i've had since tuesday!
that was incredible great find
3:45 why the elevating music? It's only another pile of rocks 😂 fancy forcing your way through holes in rocks to see more rocks 😂 lol
I don't listen to the music we use. I just plop it and run.
We like rocks.
These holes are tiny but not tiny enough for me to get forever nutty putty stuck,so the search continues 👌🏼
7:52 can i ask please, why do you cover the work before you leave?
So that others won't find it
@@EvenDarker I see. Thanks for answering
Really pretty cave . Wish I could see one like that .
I'm claustrophobic and seeing this is blowing my mind
Thank you
This is a make me panic video.😂😂, that turned into a huge cave. Wonder how long ago it was created?
Most likely around 2,000 years ago.
What are you looking for in the cave to help indicate how long ago it started to form ? Very interesting, I hope you see this 🤞🏼🤞🏼
@deadspydr If this is where I think it is, they know an eruption occurred roughly 2000 years ago.

question what do you with all the caves you discover? do you create maps and let speleological organistions know? or you just keep it a secret
