What about other neighborhoods with no power? Hollister and little York area. Still no power… I don’t even see centerpoint out here even trying to make repairs.. ridiculous.. 5 days and counting.
they say Texas GDP is in the trillions....what are we doing with the $$. Houston has seen far too many disasters for centuries. They are so freaking reactive here it is sickening and I bet it is intentional. If I was the feds I wouldnt declare this as a disaster because they ARE NOT GOING to use the funds properly. Build better power, better transformers, buildings and neighborhoods up to code. If CenterPoint is responsible for cutting back trees crossing powerlines then they need to do this during early spring and summer

I was lucky and Blessed to have power at my place. My sister and her son is staying with me as my mom is trying to sweat it out.
