Austin's scatting in this is on point, and it's one of my favorites of his vocals, especially since I really love to hear him sing in his lower register. Ruppster and Tim of course take it home with the rhythm, and Rob and Chris switching up the backup vocals each verse to keep it interesting is everything. #homefree

Considering that not a single reactor fails to mention Adam in glowing terms, and that he gets a standing ovation at the end of his solo section of every Home Free show, I really do not know where you get the idea that he is underrated.
Love this older one from Home Free (2014). They all look so young especially Austin. Love the scatting that Austin does. And Adam Rupp blows me away with his fabulous beatboxing as usual. These guys are infectious. Love all their different personalities. They make me smile. The ending is funny. The song says "Wake Me Up When It's All Over", so Rob woke Austin up from his dream.
Would highly recommend their Home Free original Dreamer (love both the orig and also the live @ the Ryman version) This song, has Rob taking lead the original is a beautiful tribute to the legacy of so many country artists. The live @ the Ryman has a great section of Tim introducing the guys

Of course, Adam sprinkled his magic to make it work. And baby-faced Austin scatting! This was one of the first (if not first) videos HF released after winning The Sing-Off 10 yrs ago. Home Free may come across to you as just a bunch singing for fun, but most of them have college training in music and even at the time of this recording had years and years of experience under their collective belts. It's a little irritating to hear highly trained and experienced artists spoken of as if they were a random group of amateurs, when they are professionals to their fingertips. Btw you can't be very observant if you haven't noticed a great reduction in Rob's size. He was very ill and afterwards decided that the time had come to lose weight. Tim did the same by giving up alcohol. What was "dark" about the little joke about waking Austin up from his dream of singing the song?
