    I can't understand what Monica's crime is here to be humiliated by the law makers and the press. Monica was an adult. There are millions of Americans having extra marital affairs with someone they are not married to. I'm not condoning extra marital affairs. Linda should be ashamed of herself. Wished her granddaughter would be humiliated like she did to Monica.

    The interviewer is unnecessarily aggressive; there was no need for that. Monica did an excellent job of articulating her position, despite being interrupted and dismissed by Mary Nightingale. This is journalism at its unfriendliest.

    Monica I applaud you for what you told this Mary Nightingale (whoever she is) she was trying to get you to say what SHE wanted you to say or what she wanted to hear you say...................AND I know now you did not deserve everything that happened to you, but the truth is men will be men, and for trusting someone you considered a friend (Linda Starr) and for her to turn around and do what she did without consideration that this would destroy you, just so she can get personal gain for herself! Now this Mary something along with Linda Starr really makes it worse!
    I bellieve in what you said this was something between you and him and should have been kept PERSONAL. It;s no ones business! I couldn't care less if he was president or not, your still human. Until this changes with the times it;s no ones business (well in this case the only ones business would have been his wife Hilary, AND NO ONE ELSE!) If Linda Tripp had not opened her BIG MOUTH! Monica I admire you because you were the only one that lost, and unfortunately the rest of them go on with there lives.......but a word of consolation, bad KARMA is true for those evil persons. Hang in there and you are loved.

      Except unfortunately, the Starr report, all the depos, and the Grand Jury details were all published by Matt Drudge when posted online. I remember the day The Drudge Report literally broke the internet! EVERYONE was reading about all the salacious (and horribly embarrassing) details. This woman can say whatever she wants, but many, many well respected reporters said, at the time, that it was a two way relationship. Not just a young girl with a crush chasing after him. And it is all online for people to read! It backs her story and feelings up atleast! I was always Team Monica 100%. She really got a raw deal!

      It’s actually scientifically proven that a young person’s prefrontal cortex-necessary for understanding consequence-isn’t developed until after the age of 25, on average. Tell us again how old Monica was when she was an intern. Tell me she was capable of making decisions in the same way as a president of a country in his late forties. Go ahead. Say it.

    • @arienefariello217
      @arienefariello217 Год назад +9

      But she was only 22 when the scandal came out, and she owned up to it. He was old enough to be her father, and the reason it became legal was because he lied under oath. A grown man, old enough to be her father lied when the girl young enough to be his daughter told the truth. Then he went out of his way to have her publicly labeled as a stalker and tarnished her reputation with his wife even more when the reality is, he has had plenty of affairs behind his wife’s back but you are not talking about that. See you are blaming the woman, but what about the man twice her senior? I definitely don’t agree with sleeping with married men, especially much older ones. 🤢. But I am glad that Monica is thriving today and she has turned that bad portion of her life into good and if you watch interviews bill keeps up with her and is very aware of her me too movement etc.

      @@arienefariello217 She didn't "own up to it". She got caught. She had no choice but to admit it. Nobody's saying it was solely her fault. They were two consenting adults who made stupid decisions. We know she was 22, but I'm pretty sure a 22 year-old knows it's wrong to have an affair with the President, not to mention blow him in the Oval Office. We can separate the fact that it's not her fault with the fact that she's not a victim. They both knew what they were doing.

    In the end if it hadn't of been Monica then it would have been another young intern or another young more vulnerable woman who he thought he could just have a bit on the side with,a bit of excitement and frisson from both his life as President and as a long term married man.He would have wanted someone on the side for his sexual outlet,its just that this is the one we know about and in which he got caught,I mean how else does that preseident of the US find women who are willing for a no committment bit of sex on the side,or frisson or even a romantic liason but to call it a "relationship"is probably a stretch too far as I'm sure for her it always meant way more as a 22 year old who thought she was madly in love than it ever meant for him,no doubt he liked her for more than just the sexual gratification but at the end of the day it was for him a little frisson and then a cases of "move along Monica"...I'm done"
    I mean imagine the headline "President of the US leaves wife and daughter of however many years for a young intern ...I mean it was never gonna happen was it even though at times he did actually make it sound like it could.If he had of disabused her of any notion that this was anything more than a little tete a tete to keep him amused then maybe she would have been out of there and said "no thanks"...I mean who knows..but maybe she'd have though "no I'm not gonna be his bit of stuff on the side".

    Women love status. Men love beauty.
    Those six words can explain 90% of what happened here and in most consensual situations with big age and status gaps. She had been an adult for several years. He had enormous power via his office, she sexual power by having been an attractive young woman in her prime
