"Bonus scene" as in not airing at all? Christ, I'd pay to see this incorporated in an episode! It's absolutely amazing!! And I didn't notice the first time that Ali had a picture of her friends and one of her MOM pinned on the wall! Gosh!! I feel so bad for her! She deserve a trial or something so she can explain herself :'(

I think they still want people to doubt Ali. I think they still want people to think she is a sociopath and A. This scene basically disproves that. So, they can't include it just yet. Maybe there will be scenes in the season 5 finale that are similar to this, but until then, they want Ali to seem like the bad guy.
Yeah, I get your point. But yet, Emily didn't get to plant the evidence in Mona's house that day, right? So how the heck could the police have arrested Ali just because Jason said "IT COULD be Alison in that tape"? All they saw as a blonde hair. And Tanner didn't even used the word "suspect" when she was arresting Ali. According to them, she did it. I'm not in law school or anything, but I think there's not enough proof. And Ali's case is just there, frozen, and they didn't even find the actual murder weapon!
Natália Scalvenzi I don't think Ali's actually been found guilty though. She's a suspect, and in high risk of flight, so she's waiting trial in prison. I'm always a little foggy about time in PLL (well, they're super vague about it), so I'm not sure how long it's been since her arrest. But there needs to be a trial, yes, she can't just stay in prison forever without a veredict. But I'd say she has no chance, unless she gets evidence in her favor so the case never gets to court, because her trial would be with a jury, and we all know how Rosewood feels about Ali.
Unfortunately, yes. I've heard that we gonna see Ali again only in 5x22 (I honestly don't get what's the deal with that), and I think it will be the same spiel until the finale.
This scene was not in episode 5x17 and it was the best moment! And it means so much, because it's from Ali's perspective. She is reconsidering some of her actions on the past, and how things could have been different with Mona. As usual, Sasha and Janel did great! #WeStandWithAli
Sasha recently post an Instagram with the reason of her weight gain, I think everyone notices, I just love the fact that the producers didn't force her to loose weigh (sorry if that is incorrect, English isn't my first language) and actually I think she looks prettier like that, like the weight gain gives her a glow on her face (maybe it can be bad for her health in the future so it's not good).

Funny how Alison fans can ignore all the crap Alison put her "best friends" through. Have you forgotten the abuse she put Hanna through? Emotionally blackmailing Emily? Taunting Aria about her fathers affair? Always trying to control Spencer? Threatening Toby with his sexual assault? Being transphobic towards Lucas? And the list goes on…
I don't forget all the horrible stuff she's done, I'm an Ali fan and I fully agree she was horrible. But that's not who she is now. Sure, there's a long way to go with her but that doesn't mean she's still the same person she was like 3 years ago
If people automatically hated all "bad" characters, shows would be boring!! They make characters complex, they make the "bad" characters have some good, and the good characters have some bad for a reason.... It would be boring if it was easy to hate Alison and every single bad or evil character! Obviously she sucks and she's not the best person, but you're missing the point I think! :) The point is to have mixed feelings, if you're automatically just thinking "god she's the worst, why do people like her!?!" you wont enjoy the show to its fullest. Anyway, most Ali fans aren't just her fan because she's "pretty" lol, she has so much character development and people appreciate the complex character she is! Just because a character is sociopath or a murderer, doesn't mean you have to hate them. You can still enjoy the character and be a fan!! No one ignores the abuse, that's what makes Ali interesting, anyway!! It's what makes it harder to actually figure out who A is and what Ali's role in all of this really is....!!!
I haven't forgotten about all of that. She isn't a perfect human being. She can be a bitch sometimes, but so what? If she was always super sweet and never did anything wrong, the show would be boring.
Anyway from what I've seen this season on pll it's about Ali trying to redeem herself :P She's slowly becoming a better person which is good

This is so good. I've never expect it to be so good. It's just proves that Ali is good and if she could, she would've made everything differently. She's a good person, she has a good heart. Also, Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish are absolutely fantastic as actress. This scene is so deep and strong emotionally. Wow, love it.
This is actually a great scene that shows great character development. We've all hurt people and we've all done horrible things that we regret. When we're teenagers, we lack compassion and our first priority is always ourselves.. so we say and do things without taking into consideration how they could affect others. Eventually, most of us grow out of this and realize our wrongdoings. We mature. To see Ali go from a bully who did nothing but belittle and hurt people to a girl with growing compassion who understands what she did wasn't ok is wonderful. In the end, Mona and her never had to even be friends.. just leaving Mona alone would have been good of Ali. In the end, it's about acknowledging our wrongdoings and making an effort to change that matters. And Ali has reached a huge point in her maturing to be able to have this compassion for Mona. This show has it's flaws but this scene was fantastic.

You should realize that THE SHOW isnt THE BOOKS and that whole show is different! theres no Alison's twin, so I dont get why do you think that Alison being good person would destroy her character. Liza Roelofsen she WAS horrible person. She HAS CHANGED and she regrets those things she did. She is human too and people do mistakes especially when they dont have perfect mom and family and they are kids and she was kid.. when you are 15 you are idiot. Every of us is. She has changed and in my opinion she deserves second chance. :))) People are horrible at her just bc they thing its okay bc she WAS horrible person too. I dont think its good.
Yeah. And we know she has emotions and feelings too, we've seen multiple scenes with her crying that made me sorry for her. She regrets what she's done, and she wants to change. No one has been giving her that chance.
