- A K-9 with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department saved the day after a 3-year-old boy went missing in a corn maze at Erie Orchard on Sept. 3.
I was in a corn maze one time and I was in a corn maze one time and the rules were to STRICTLY follow the MAP, and DON'T make your OWN path
Trying to follow the map And the rules carefully, I hit a spot in the maze where there was absolutely no way out, and I was taken around and around and around in circles after retracing Night tracks very carefully, so I was stuck inside that maze for longer than I should have been when everyone else had come and gone
Finally someone called out to me And I told them what was wrong and I was permitted to just follow their voice and come toward them, so only then was I able to reunite with the friend who took me to that corn maze
He didn't go through it, but he took me there so I COULD so I showed the HOSTESS where the problem was and explained how I kept having to RETRACE my tracks TRYING to FOLLOW the MAP and the RULES CAREFULLY as EACH GUEST was asked to do....
The hostess seemed grateful that I was able to point out where the problem was so they can improve the corn maze in the future, and I'm sure they probably did
