Thanks for this video. Good to see more of a mooch around than a tailored video edition. Driving to the different states reminded me of years ago with my daughter on a three week trip to California but went to Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Had a blowout tyre in Death Valley, nobody around but and within minutes there appeared a NY couple who changed the tyre for the ‘donut’ spare, and a police car arrived shortly followed by a park Ranger. It was July 4 so can you imagine trying to get another tyre. Nothing open, and the police car was not allowed to cross state boundaries so could not take me to nearest stockist. Result we limped to Las Vegas. The Ranger had arranged for me to check in at each ranger station to make sure I got through (115degs in the shade). Amazing service for a mother and her daughter so thank you Ranger Weaver! The journey across the Mojave Desert back into LA via Palm Springs was just like the one you showed. Dead straight roads, and no cars for mile upon mile, just scrubland. It was a lovely holiday though.
Wow - quite the adventure. We came back from Laughlin via Palm Springs, I have the say that I adore the baron scenery with the mountains in the distance. Love it!
If you wanna see a big gas ⛽️ station you need find a Bucc-ee’s . There’s none on the west coast but the one in Texas is the largest gas ⛽️ station in the world ! They are mostly located in the SE USA 🇺🇸.I’ve been to three of em . Enjoy 😉

The opening scene of The Terminator was filmed at Griffith Observatory. Useless fact if you're not a film fan.
Yeah, it’s in quite a few movies - awesome place
