The Tolerance of a Tree - Beautiful Meditation on Forbearance

“One should be more tolerant than a tree...” A tree can be compared to a noble, merciful and exceptionally tolerant person. A tree provides its riches of fruit, flowers, leaves, fuel, shade and shelter to anybody and everybody. It doesn’t ask for any payment for sharing its bounty. Black, white, rich, poor, man, woman or child, the tree welcomes all of us equally and generously.

Back listening and looking again, and thinking what good visual meditation it is, seeing trees how they tolerate scorching sun and freezing slow, crowds or isolation, whatever time, season and circumstance throws at them. An example of equanimity in action (even if very slow action)
