This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper to get to champion in overwatch 2. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU and now a champion reaper. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
The horse is officially meta again. I think it's a little bit better than the dva meta since you can actually kill the horse and she isn't as powerful as the last time she was meta. We shall see though...
The journey to champion was tough and I never thought I would actually get to champion but we did it in possibly one of the worst season for reaper. I also just wanted to say thank you to all the support lately it really means a lot.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 2300 hours and 1000 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.

Reaper has too many counters and struggles against alot of characters : Genji , Widow, Junkrat , Tracer .... And the list goes on.
In high ranks reaper gets stomped tbh but in lower ones its a decent pick.

@@fenixspider5776 there's a difference between a sitting duck like Cass , Ash and characters that can actually surprise and somehow finish the widow in a few moments like Tracer / Sombra and Genji ... Even Junkrat can play safely by bouncing his bombs on walls ... So no not every character is like reaper requiring a 5m distance to actually kill the widow in 2 shots.

I don't really think Orisa is meta at all, it's just that Brig Juno is too strong right now which makes every good tank unkillable

I think he’s pretty decent surprisingly even though he hasn’t received any changes really but he’s pretty good this patch and his mythic is so good too
