    Great song!!! I’m so impressed that this roll survived two world wars and a Great Depression and it is still in an almost original condition!

    What are the purple dots representing?

      It can be in any color, mostly blue and red. They are music dynamics, as in pp, p, mf, f, and ff, they guide the player to know how loud or soft to play the song.
