Thank you for this video. I am new to tog fishing up here in Northeast, Long Island. I see simple 1 hook rigs like this one. Then I hear and see of the snafu double hook. Would you know if there's an advantage to using a double hook snafu to a single like yours? Also, I see people use small 2oz jigs. Thoughts on them? I would think they are good in more shallow, not a strong current situation. Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hi David, thanks for watching. I have not used the snafu rig specifically but my experience with most double hook rigs is they tangle often and you get so many bites when black-fishing that I never saw the reason for baiting two hooks. The jigs work very well particularly in shallow water or during slow moving current.
