I love your videos girl! Been a follower for a while and never commented on your vids, but my husband owns a tile business and I work with him, so just a few tips! If you cook pretty often think of the splatter on the tile. Gloss is what id recommend, matte tends to stay dirtier and harder to take care of, and for pattern, straight stack is modern, brickset is traditional, and herringbone is considered fancy in the tile world. So they will probably charge you more just for picking a herringbone pattern. If you don't like "too much" of a look id really NOT pick herringbone. It's pretty until it looks like a lot. The bigger tiles look better then smaller subway tiles and a grout color to accent anything (for example your center island) like white grout with a gray subway tile will look awesome. In the future you can seal the grout and give it a "wet" look if you get sick of the plain color. In conclusion, you've picked great choices, just keep in mind that subway tile is one of the easiest tiles to put up, so make sure they don't overcharge you!!! It's so easy, I do my husband's clients backsplashes. I mean I was taught by a professional, but as a 23yr old it shows that anyone can do anything! Ohhh and to add on, instead of using bullnose for the edges, I'd recommend a schluter metal! Pick gold or whatever your hardware is, it'll look amazing I promise! Edit: my choice out of your choices would be the lightest blue (the bigger tile you showed), placed horizontally and straight stack. Clean, modern look for sure!
Totally agree on finding a backsplash with blue undertones! That kitchen 10000% needs herringbone or an arabesque backsplash. Subway will certainly take away from the kitchen's beauty

Fiancé era🥹🤍 I work for an engagement ring designer and you should take your ring off while getting your nails done! All of the dust from filing, powder, and lotion will make your ring look so dirty! AND over time it will clog up the little settings and one of the hidden halo diamonds can become loose/fall out!
One of the first things I did the days after we got engaged was get a cute ring box for my bedside table & a dish for the bathroom! Also would suggest on for the kitchen!
With acrylic you have to take them off after a while and get a fresh set but they should be able to advise you when you need a new set.

Hi Gretchen! I am currently in the middle of a coastal house down in Wilmington, NC so I get your vibe! Check out Cloe Tile in white and do it in the herringbone pattern! Also, if you want to incorporate a navy or dark blue, paint your island! It would look stunning! Your kitchen already looks stunning but it may add a little something. Def check out that tile I mentioned tho!
I’d go for a cream/ivory white backsplash just to keep it all consistent! Don’t think you would regret it!!
I think bc it’s all white rn it’s easy to think you ‘should’ add a bit of variety and color with the backsplash but trust me it would look much more beautiful all white and simple then you can add other touches to the kitchen to make it unique and your own! ❤️

I’ve been getting acrylic for years, and usually after 4-5 fills I soak them off and do an overlay. Obviously doing anything to your nails can be damaging, but I will never go back to dip lol

My natural nails are trash. So weak and I did acrylic from the time that I was like 16 or 17 up until 28 (on and off). I would have acrylic for a few months take them off and either do gel or dip. Didn’t really care for dip too much the process is so long and I’m too impatient for that. Now at 29 over the last 6-8 months I just have my natural nails I go every 3 weeks and my nails last. Sometimes I miss the acrylic, but it was wrecking my nails and they were extremely expensive for fresh sets. Now I have healthier nails. My nail lady gives me a really good manicure an the gel lasts. Right now just want to continue growing my nails and making them healthy. Could be genetics because my moms natural nails are the same.
Alsoooo ordered a fake one on Amazon for travel/concerts/places I’m afraid of it falling off/getting stolen! I wore it to eras & was so happy I did!
