Cara Gee as Drummer was my favorite character in a series with many amazing people. It's a testament to her talent that they developed her persona based on her performance. So cool!
The character arc was the most interesting to me by far. Post-Ashford she was a machine.
Cara Gee is one of the main reasons I rewatch The Expanse, her performance is magnificent.
The contrast between Drummer and Cara is always so striking. Drummer is intense and intimidating, and Cara seems so sweet and bubbly. Similar to the Wes/Amos dichotomy. They're both damned talented actors.
For real. Best storyline in the Expanse-verse so far.

people dont realize this, but if you dont have a strong , interesting personality, you cant be a truly good actor

I think deep inside of Drummer, there's a Cara, and deep inside of Cara, there's a Drummer. They are the same person with different manifestation due to different environmens.
there's at least one thing they both have in common: total badasses.
I'll never give up hope that someday some rich sci-fi fan will fund the adaptation of the last 3 books!

I think, going forward, Apple TV is a better bet. Don't know that Cook would directly intervene to evangelize for the show.

I love all these people for being so "upstanding" in their way of paying homage to the fans. I love this show. I really feel like the cast is all in for each other.

Cara Gee as Drummer really made the show for me. I loved how they made Drummer their own character and almost the de facto lead. I’d love to see her in Season 7???
Drummer and Pa were swapped from the books, so if they stick close to book canon then by the time book 7 happens (30 years later) Pa would be the current head of the Transport Union. Working her in is possible, but her arc more or less ends in book 6.
Told my wife "Telltale's back with another game" and she balked, "If it ain't a Wolf sequel, I don't give a shit." I responded, "It's the Expanse with Drummer and Sara Gee's the VA." She didn't even reply, she just sat down on the couch and purchased it.
And how disappointed was she?

Drummer and Amos were my two favorites, so this is like Christmas for me.
The story really picks up in episode 3 of the game. Choices you've made up until this point will possibly make you start over from the beginning due to the consequences of the ending of ep 3.
She's such a jewel. I really liked her in the show... just creating a really relatable character that is both outrageous and lovable. Seeing her out of character I can see that she's put a lot of HER into Drummer.

It was amazing to boot up the game and hear the Expanse music and know I was going to experience some new material in the universe! The fact it was Drummer was the Icing on the cake! I am loving the game - just bliss.

The way my playthrough played out was perfectly in line with show Drummer character. Really liked it.
I bought the game to reward myself and Cara Gee at the same time.
So excited for this. Cara is so good in the game.
"Unbent, unbroken, unbowed" when I rewatch, that is one of the scenes that get rewound at least 3 times.
35:37…I got to work with Strathairn last year. It was a surprise to see Ashford walk through the rehearsal door, didn’t know he was involved in our project….I was the only Expanse fan, and I litterally teared up seeing the ghost knife of Callisto, resurrected, walk through the door. 😂
Ahhh... didn't know this game existed because it's not on Steam, I'll definitely play the hell out of it when it's out
My brain can barely cope with the concept of Cara Gee being a separate (super-dynamic) person from Drummer who is one of the strongest people that my brain somehow has been convinced is all too real and just "flipping awesome." I will play the game and I will return to watch the show we are not talking about end to end again soon.

Cara Gee is as memorable a person as Drummer is a character. Such a sweet, charming woman. She gets more roles and stories , then Gee gets more media visibility and more prominent work. Shines in talk shows and podcasts being her regular self.
2 kids - shooting Expanse related stuff each time. Maybe another in the oven?? - could mean a restart of The Expanse??
She's delightful and easily not only the fan fave of the Expanse, but the fan fav crush of the Expanse.
And more crushable and attractive as real life Cara Gee.

52yo married husband of 15 years, father of a 10yo boy, binged the series on amazon on my 4th go through, and bought game for ps4, and played EP3 last night at 11pm and was gutted w the experience in the game, was up to 2AM processing the emotional exhaustion/Trama of the Camina Drummer (Spoiler redacted) experience..pashang dat game got me!!! You writers put poor drummer through emotional HELL! The sense of terror about the K core, creates tenshion you can cut from the air, to wear like a flight suit into the next episode. "In space everyone is a falotah welwahllah!"

I've been a massive fan of Telltale games for a long time and I read all the Expanse books and watched all the TV series. I can tell you I was jumping up and down on my chair at work emailing and slacking people and telling them how much I'd already bought this game in my head. I'm happy to say I have purchased the game and I love it.

I am one of the game first people. I knew about the show for a long time, but never watched. Then I tried out the game and loved it. I just finished binging the tv show about a week ago and I wish there was more.
I so want an open world style Expanse game, maybe something built on Star Citizen's engine, where you have reasonably realistic spaceflight, gravity, etc
Playing the Telltale game really made me want that more. I love the game, but having combat and more freedom to do things in the incredibly rich universe of the Expanse would be so cool

I'm very much looking forward to play the game (episodes) but only once they release on Steam. Store or platform exlusives are just stupid and I don't want to support that. I'm quite sure Ty would agree. I would have expected more from Alcon or Telltale... I think this hurts their sales and hype around the game quite a bit. Especially since the game would be perfect for the Steam Deck.

Did cara say they were doing mocap in the volume? I know about the volume as a background for shows like The Mandolorian, but I hadn't considered how it might be used as a mocap stage. Wondering if anyone in the know can clarify.
